so how would you feel if i made a leaside-park fanfic?

if bell and bridget were to marry whose last name would they take? or would it be hyphenated? i for one see it as a leaside-park situation but i was curious to hear your thoughts

if we follow the established toronto geography naming scheme it would either be "Leaside-Park" or maybe "Parkside" if they wanted to get fancy with it. I feel like they might just be the types to keep their original names though. Bell's got a brand to maintain now!

could not for the life of me remember following you or who you were because you literally only turned up on my dash today and I got jumpscared because my name is Anja and I’m Canadian and it’s not really that common of a name here lol but then I did figure out that I played all of your stuff from Birdland onwards a few years ago and loved it, Birdland in particular really stuck with me, so thanks to Tumblr for showing me your blog and reminding me to revisit Birdland :)

and thanks for the info abt grade 9 anja’s hair! can I ask if you had anything in mind for grade 9 summer and nadia’s hair? and is grade 12 nadia’s hair pushed back with a headband, or is it a topknot situation, or? (for fanart purposes)

i have to admit I don't fully know what's going on with nadia's bangs lol. I kind of just assumed she was pinning them back somehow, but I'm pretty hazy on the details. The direction for her was literally just "wavy brown hair" so that's even less specific.

I don't think nadia or summer had different hair in grade 9. neither of them strike me as the type of people to do a big change in high school. but nadia does get trendy new frames all the time because of her dad's eyewear store so back in 2013 she probably had those like round zooey deschanel nerd glasses?

hi! I’ve been replaying your games (and played the grown-up detective agency) and wanted to say thank you so much for making them (and releasing them for free!) and also ask, how does anja’s hair work, if you know? does she have a bun on the back of her head?

ooh, great question! the only direction for the hairstyle was "Pale blonde hair up in a crown braid" and izzy only ever drew that one angle, so I welcome any interpretation

(fun hair fact: grade 9 anja is supposed to have her hair in a long single braid, but I couldn't afford art for the flashback sections so it never really comes across)

anyway, thanks for playing!! it's nice to see someone still enjoying the games after all these years

do you have any plans to continue making games centered around bell? i've played birdland and the grown-up detective agency and have fallen in love with bell's story and i'd REALLY like to hear more about her and cassidy (+ how she broke up with bridget!)

you know, every time I think I'm done writing stories about her I find something else for her to do. so who can say?
