“a new dress, huh? i’d love to see it.” brock said with a grin as he took another piece of bacon before popping it into his mouth. honestly, he didn’t mind doing whatever she wanted to do. thankfully she didn’t have any class, but if he just wanted to lay in bed and not do anything for a little while since he had been working so hard and traveling all of the time. at least she wanted to do the same thing. the smile on his face widened as he let otu a happy sigh and kissed the top of her head. “a bath sounds nice too… are you saying that we smell?” he teased. it would be nice to be able to do all of these things with her, especially since they hadn’t been together in so long. he missed just waking up and seeing her right next to him. who knew when he would get another day off like this so why not live it up while they can. “you gotta show me around the city. usually when he come for games i don’t have too much time to walk around.” he was on a strict schedule during the season which meant practices every day. that didn’t leave time for adventures or anything which he hoped that he could make up now. 

“you don’t have to share me. you have me all to yourself until we see your mom.” thankfully her whole family loved him (which he was scared at first since that’s all he wanted was for them to like him) but he knew that when he went over they wouldn’t have too much alone time. “i haven’t taken you out on a date in a little while.” he said with another smile as he brought over their tray before picking up the cup of coffee and taking a long sip. he didn’t mind sharing everything with her, in fact it was pretty romantic that the two of them shared just about everything. “there’s gonna be more breakfasts like this, i promise.” if he could he’d make breakfast every morning for the both of them, but again he was traveling all the time and knew he wouldn’t be able to. as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder, he pulled her close and started to eat a piece of toast. “i bet there’s some nice places to go around town, right? we could go somewhere we haven’t been before, be a bit adventurous.”

 as another happy sigh slipped his lips, he rested his head against her shoulder and took another sip of their coffee. “you know, i think me and you drink too much coffee.” he said with a laugh before shaking his head. as he gently rubbed her shoulder, he let out a little yawn before eating a bit more breakfast. “i don’t mind laying here for a little while. maybe we can finish that movie that i fell asleep during last night.” 

“it’s cute. but sexy at the same time. i’m sure you’ll love it,” she teased with a playfuly wink as she took a few more bites of the food before her. it was so nice of him, brock was such a thoughtful person and that was one of many things elena adored about him. he was so good to her and she truly felt special. “you know... sometimes i ask myself what i did to deserve you,” she giggled softly, kissing his cheek. “no, of course not,” she teased, sticking her tongue out at him playfully. “we don’t smell, we just both need to relax and that’s exactly what the bath will be for,” the brunette wiggled her eyebrows playfully which led to another chuckle. elena hasn’t felt this good and relaxed in such a long time, she was always in a hurry, always rushing to work or to classes and then doing her school work which was extremely exhausting. having brock back home was just a blessing at that point, he knew how to make her feel better. 

“don’t worry, i’ll show you around. i’ve recently realized how many amazing little cafés are around the town and i was amazed. and other cool attractions. we could go to this cool looking futuristic exhibition that’s also interactive, that looked like so much fun on the internet. there’s also an amusment park i’ve been dying to go to,” the girl suggested, gazing at her boyfriend. “we could also go ice skating? although i’m sure you’ve had enough of that,” she laughed. “or biking? or simply hiking? i don’t know, there’s honestly so much to do, all we have to do is decide what we want to do the most,” she chuckled, taking a few more sips of the delicious coffee. the girl then reached over for her phone that was on the little night stand just to check the time. it was still pretty early which was good, elena honestly wanted to spend as much time with brock as possible. “and thank you for this again, you’re honestly the best.” she smiled widely, kissing his lips softly.

elena giggled at his next comment and then nodded her head, agreeing with his statement. “tell me about it. i’ve been drinking coffee like a crazy person lately. i blame it on the school though,” she sighed playfully, nudging his arm with her own. “but i can’t help myself, it’s so good.” the girl smiled. “we could do that, sure. or we could also have some fun.” with those words, elena jumped on top of him as she started tickling his sides playfully, laughing a little.

he arrived a day ago and so he hasn’t been able to run into some of his old neighbors yet but keenan was really excited to see everyone. he was afraid he wouldn’t recognize most of the people since it’s been so long, especially the younger generation who were now all grown up just like camila mentioned. and he laughed at her words, nodding his head. “yeah, i was preparing myself for the shock in advance, i knew the kids would be teenagers now, hell some have even graduated probably.” he smiled, thinking about all the great memories he had made in this town. keenan really missed his family, the people in general, they always made him feel at home and simply the comunity was amazing there. he learned that the people in hollywood were definitely different with different goals and intentions but keenan promised himself he would never change and that he would try to stay true to himself even though it was hard at times, he could see people changing because of fame right in front of him. he had to keep himself grounded and stay humble, he was doing good so far. when she spoke again, keenan just nodded his head and looked over at her, his eyes slightly narrowed. “well then that makes two of us,” he replied softly, shaking his head a little. “i don’t know if that was for the better or worse but…” he sighed. “i’ve missed you too. a lot.” he couldn’t hold back his emotions, he didn’t want to start this conversation but the heart was always faster than his head when it came to keenan. “are you… are you with somebody right now?” he asked nervously.

they were close to camila’s house and she was a little afraid that when and if he came in, he’d see her fiancé who had probably woken up by the time she was gone for the groceries. camila was almost trying to hide the reality from him, hide her present life as if she was living in her fantasy world with keenan again, she simply didn’t want to let go of him. and that wasn’t a good sign. but the moment he asked her whether she was with somebody at the moment, her lips parted and she panicked, not wanting to tell him the truth. but of course she wasn’t going to lie. and so camila nodded her head, feeling bad for some reason. was she that delusional? she had a completely different life now, she was working full time and had a great fiancé who was such a good man but was nowhere near keenan. and that was the problem. “are you?” she asked, afraid of his response. she wanted him to say no, she hoped he wasn’t dating anybody even when she was engaged. that’s how selfish she was. once they reached her house, the brunette sighed, taking the bag from him. “thank you.” she smiled. “wanna come in?” she asked, although her fiancé was constantly in the back of her mind, afraid that he would be awake and keenan would actually have to meet him. but the truth was, camila wanted to spend more time with keenan. as much as she could.

the next morning when brock woke up, he knew he wanted to do something special for her. she had done so much for him already, and she even set up her home for him so he tried his best to return the favor. he woke up before her and for a moment he couldn’t help but to look at her with a smile on his face. all he wanted was to wake up right next to her every single day of his life, and hopefully he could make that happen. slowly he got of out bed in hopes not to wake up her before heading into her kitchen. he wasn’t a great cook, but he knew that he could make something work and pull something together to surprise her. he ran around her kitchen in hopes to pull something together and he made sure to cook it all. pancakes, waffles, bacon, whatever he could think of he wanted to make for her. once he was done (and thankfully didn’t burn down her new apartment), he put everything on a plate and grabbed some coffee for the both of them before heading back into her room. 

“surprise!” brock said with a grin as he set their breakfast on her nightstand and moved to climb back into her bed. if he could he would stay in bed with her all day, but he didn’t want to waist any moments he had back at home. she wanted to see her family and he hopefully could take her out on a nice date since she deserved to be spoiled a bit. “did you sleep alright?” he said as he wrapped his arms around her and place a kiss to the top of her head. this was probably the best sleep he had in a long time, and it was all thanks to her. there was a sense of peace of being next to her and just having her head on his chest. as he gently rubbed her back, he reached over and grabbed a piece of bacon before popping it into his mouth. “now, i tried my hardest. i don’t think i burnt anything but if i did just tell me and we can order in.” having her come out on the road with him would be a dream come true. even when he just had her with him for a couple of days, he was as happy as ever. she was his missing puzzle piece and whenever he was with her, he just felt so complete. a happy sigh slipped his lips as he rested his free hand behind his head, just enjoying this moment. 

“so what do you want to do today? i’m all yours.” maybe she did want to stay in bed all day, which he wouldn’t complain about. they could go out tonight or something, but for now he didn’t mind just watching another movie with the woman he loved. “also, if you had school work or something, i don’t mind staying out of your hair for a little while. who knows, maybe i could even help.” he wouldn’t be able to help with much, but he could at least try. even though he didn’t go to school, he could try and help out. “you can pick what we do today as long as i get to take you out tonight. it only seems fair.” 

elena fell asleep very quickly last night and she didn’t remember having a better sleep in a very long time. it was probably because of brock being back home and her being able to cuddle him, have his arms around her as the two of them fall asleep together. she just felt so safe next to him and elena wished all of their nights could be like this. when the brunette woke up, brock wasn’t there but she was still half asleep and didn’t really pay much attention to her surroundings. elena probably fell asleep again but she was definitely woken up by the amazing smell of fresh coffee and homemade breakfast. it felt as though she was dreaming though, the way he was treating her was just so amazing and elena felt so special. 

the girl finally opened up her eyes fully, thuough they were still a bit sleepy. she sat up in her bed, rubbing her eyes a little before stretching her arms and smiling widely the moment she saw brock coming in with breakfast. the grin on her face only kept growing, he looked adorable and was bringing her breakfast to bed, what more could she ask for? “babe,” she sighed happily, wrapping her hands around his neck as soon as he jumped into her bed again. “you’re spoiling me. that’s not good,” she giggled playfully, kissing his cheek. “thank you. so much. this is...” she shook her head, smiling at the male. “this is incredible. you’re incredible. and i love you so much,” she said softly, running her hand through his hair. firstly, elena went for the coffee, she needed at least a sip since she considered herself to be one of those extreme coffee lovers. she took a sip, closing her eyes for a brief moment as she enjoyed the bitter taste. elena wished all of the mornings were like this, she felt so good, the atmosphere was so amazing and she couldn’t ask for more. she then took a bite of the food, shaking her head. “no way, this is perfect. you’re not that bad babe, you did pretty damn good,” she chuckled, eating some more. 

when he asked what she wanted to do that day, elena tilted her head as she thought about it for a second, not sure herself. since she didn’t know he was coming home, she didn’t really have time to make any plans. but she knew she wanted to make the most out of his visit and she was going to come up with something. but maybe today she just wanted to have him all to herself and do nothing but be lazy with him. “how about we just stay in and cuddle, take a bath maybe? and then we can go for a walk, grab something to eat and then go back to more cuddling and all that fun stuff,” she wiggled her eyebrows playfully. “what can i say, i’m selfish, i don’t want to share you with anyone just yet,” she giggled. “but we can totally go out tonight. i actually bought myself a new dress i still haven’t been able to wear, at least i could wear that tonight.” she smiled.

Landon narrowed his eyes and scrunched his nose in response. As the other line finally picked up, he ordered their usual meals and the fortune cookies. They called so often that he was convinced the restaurant already knew what they’d want. “Alright, it’ll be here in half an hour.” He told the girl, setting his phone to the side again. “You know, I’ll never understand why you like fortune cookies, especially the ones from there.”

Taylor clapped her hands excitedly. “Yay! The food is coming.” She lowered her voice, imitating the famous line from her favourite show. “I hope you understood my game of thrones reference,” she giggled. “Honestly? I don’t know. They’re not that tasty but I guess it’s because of the stupid little messages that come inside. I’ve been in love with those since I was a kid,” she chuckled. “Besides.. they’re cute.”

keenan was wondering whether camila was with somebody or not. the fact that the two lost contact, he didn’t really know anything about her life for the past few years. it was only then that keenan realized how fast the time flew, it felt as though he had only left yesterday indeed. with a smile, keenan nods his head and starts walking with camila. he took the paper bag from her so that he could carry it. “let me take that for you,” the male smiled, gazing at her. it was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and nobody was around since it was early in the morning but that’s what keenan liked the most. he was a morning person, somebody who would get up very early just to enjoy the sunrise while everybody was still asleep and everything around him was quiet. “i can’t believe it’s been so long. how is everybody? has anything changed while i was gone?” he asked, wondering what has been going on in his hometown. the little town was fairly small, not a lot of people lived there and everybody pretty much knew each other. keenan remembers the day he was leaving so vividly, neighbors were coming over to say goodbye and congratulate him while his heart was aching because of the fact that he was leaving the love of his life behind. “cammy, i know i could have called or texted but… did you ever want to pick up the phone? cause i- i was scared.” keenan spoke, clearing his throat nervously.

“what a gentleman. that hasn’t changed, i see,” camila chuckled as she walked next to him. she slipped her hands into the pockets of her coat as the two walked. the brunette took a deep breath, thinking about their past and how things used to be as they would walk down the street, hand in hand, so in love. things were different now though. and camila was wondering what would have happened if he had stayed. “oh um... well i feel like nothing has really changed. some people have moved away, some have moved in. but all of the folks you still probably remember as your neighbors are still here. but don’t be surprised when you see all those kids grown up.” camila giggled, looking around herself. the streets were empty, everybody were still asleep and that’s what she loved about this little town. her morning walks to the grocery store were her favorite, that hasn’t changed. when he spoke again, she frowned a little, feeling her heart beating a little faster than usual. camila wasn’t prepared to talk about this, to talk about them. “so many times, keenan...” she cleared her throat nervously. “so was i. i was scared that...” she paused, a sigh escaping her lips. camila wasn’t sure whether she should continue but she had already started speaking. “... that i would never be able to let you go.” and she wasn’t anyway. “but i’ve missed you.”

once he was done with the dishes, he headed into her room and let out a happy sigh. this was what he wanted every single day of his life. he wanted to come home, have a great meal and then just relax. the two of them deserved something nice like this since the two of them had been busting their butts and doing so much. as he flopped down on her bed, he pulled her close before giving her a wide smile. “yeah, sure, babe. i don’t mind what movie you put on.” her arms wrapped around him tightly and he couldn’t help but to lean into her touch and wrap his arms around her waist as well. he chuckled to himself as he leaned his head against hers and started to rub her back. “i wish i didn’t have to leave again.” the goodbyes were always the hardest. of course he would always come back, but the hardest part was that he never knew when he was going to be back. at least she had things to occupy her while he was gone. it would break his heart if she was just waiting for him all day and all night. she had her schoolwork and her job, which kept her pretty busy. 

he could feel his eyes getting a bit heavy as the movie continued to play, but he tried his best not to fall asleep just yet. even though he was here for a couple of days, he wanted to make every moment last. he didn’t even look at the movie, his attention was all on her. “i wish you could come back with me.” he muttered as he pulled her covers up and around the both of them so they could fully relax and get comfortable. if she didn’t have school, he’d have her traveling with him all over the country. “maybe when i’m done with the season, and you’re done with school, we can go on a little vacation.” they deserved something nice and to go somewhere warm. he’d take her wherever she’d want to go. if she wanted to go to the beach, or even just stay at a nice hotel for the weekend, he’d do it in a heartbeat. as he let otu a little yawn, he couldn’t help but to chuckle and cuddle up next to her once again. “wherever you want to go, just say the word and i’ll take you.” 

again he was fighting off sleep and he felt pretty bad that he was falling asleep right next to her. she hadn’t seen him in a little while and there he was falling asleep. as he pulled her a little closer, he closed his eyes as rested his head close to hers before letting out a happy sigh. “are you gonna be mad if i fall asleep? you’re gonna have me all day tomorrow… i just can’t keep my eyes open.” brock said with a laugh. 

“you know what would be cool? if we just packed our bags and left... forever. just like in the movies,” she giggled, looking up to meet his gaze. “obviously not very realistic but sometimes i do think about that. what can i say, i’m a dreamer,” she chuckled before her gaze moved back to the television and she focused on the movie. she wasn’t paying too much attention to it though, her mind was filled with brock and happy thoughts and that was present on her smile that never faded away. she was so happy to have him back, if only he could just stay and never leave again. but elena understood him and his job, she knew he had to return soon and go back to his daily routine and she was definitely going to support him. always. 

“you know i was actually thinking... when i have a little break maybe i can come to at least a few games? stay with you for a while. and although i’m sure you’d be busy throughout the whole day practising, i could come with you if your coach lets me and watch you play... and if he doesn’t, i can explore the cities, that’d be fun too.” elena suggested. “i actually have a little break in a month or so.” elena was doing her best to stay focused when it came to school and she was doing really good, she was proud of herself. at first, she was scared that it would just end up being too much for her to handle while working as well, but elena was always determined and when she wanted something, she went after it until she had it. she was going to get her degree for sure, she knew it. only two more years and she would be done. and although it sounded like a very long time, elena knew that the time flew by quickly after all. “babe, vacation sounds so good. and i honestly wouldn’t mind anywhere. but i haven’t been skiing since i was a little girl, maybe that could be fun? you know... the mountains, snow and all of that... i could definitely see us doing that. and in the evenings hot baths... hm, that sounds good,” she wiggled her eyebrows playfully, gazing up at brock again. 

elena could tell brock was exhausted, she understood. how couldn’t he be after all. with a smile, elena just shook her head and giggled softly. “just sleep, silly. the movie’s almost over anyway.” she said as she rested her head on the pillow and gazed into his eyes for a moment, cupping his cheek with her hand. “i love you so much,” she whispered softly and leaned in to kiss his lips before she turned the lights off. “good night, my love.”

keenan immediately kneeled down to help her with her groceries. once their eyes met though, it felt as if the whole world stopped for a moment. and it almost felt as though he only left yesterday. she was still the same, at least that’s what he thought. and he realized how much he wasn’t prepared to see her. but it was too late for that now. keenan really didn’t expect camila pulling him into a hug but once her arms wrapped around him, he wrapped his around her waist and closed his eyes while taking a deep breath, he just knew this was going to be a very difficult week for him. he missed her so much. and to to be holding her in his arms like that again felt so surreal. he wondered how she had been doing while was gone. “i am, yeah,” he laughed softly as the two pulled apart. keenan scratched the back of his neck as he gazed at the female, his lips curling into a small smile. “you look great, cam. as always,” he nodded before a quiet sigh slipped past his lips. he had so many questions yet he wasn’t sure whether he was ready to hear the answers to them. at one hand keenan really wanted to catch up with her but he knew that the longer he stood near her, the worse he would feel about ever leaving. “how are you?” he asked, his eyes locked with hers, smile still present on his lips.

maybe the fact that camila has been trying to avoid him for the past few years wasn’t the greatest idea. she didn’t let herself heal, she thought that if those pictures of him were never seen by her, she would move on faster. but that wasn’t the case. keenan was camila’s first love. her first everything and he would always have a special place in her heart, she realized how strong her love for him was. “thank you,” she smiled, her gaze falling down to the ground as she picked up her paper bag filled with groceries and held onto it tightly. “so do you.” she chuckled softly, eyeing the male. camila thought he had changed just a little, probably because of the lifestyle he was living, it must have been different than what he was used to back in this town. when he asked her how she was, her lips parted but camila had no idea what to tell him. “oh i’m... i’m good.” she cleared her throat. not that camila was doing bad, she had her dream job and was doing just fine but the brunette always felt like there was something missing in her life. “hey, do you want to... walk with me to my house? i have to put these groceries in the fridge,” she suggested. camila honestly didn’t want to let him go, she missed him so much and figured she needed at least a few more minutes to spend with him.

Landon rolled his eyes with a laugh, scrolling through his contacts for the number of their usual go-to Chinese takeout restaurant. “Chinese sounds good - do you want the usual?” He asked, tapping the number before bringing his phone to his ear. “You know, I’m starting to think you’re only my friend for what I materially bring to the table.” He joked, the phone still ringing.

“Yup, the usual.” She nodded her head. “Hey, that’s not true! You’re nice to talk to... sometimes.” She said, sticking her tongue out at him playfully. Taylor sat up and stretched a little, watching her friend on the phone. “Oh and tell them not to forget the fortune cookies! Last time they didn’t put them in,” she chuckled.

keenan’s life has changed so much over the past few years. leaving his little hometown to start his career was extremely difficult, yet amazing and exciting at the same time and basically something he dreamt of for the longest time. with his career though came a lot of other nice and not so nice things. he had to leave his family members, his friends and the love of his life behind but they all understood and supported him, which he was more than grateful for. however, he lost every contact with his ex and he learnt how to move on eventually, it has been five years since he last saw them anyway. now that he was back in town to visit his family, he was excited to see everybody, to catch up with the people so close to his heart but he completely forgot about the fact that his ex could be there. and so one day, when he was going for a morning run and bumped into them, his heart dropped. keenan was speechless, all the forgotten memories of the two of them came flashing back and it felt as though he had never moved on. “hey you,” he smiled softly, gazing into their eyes.

camila was deep in her thoughts when she felt herself bumping into somebody. the groceries she was holding fell down to the ground and she quickly started putting the foods back into the paper bag. “i am so sorry, i-” she finally looked up, only to see keenan standing right in front of her. her heart skipped a beat and she felt as though she froze, unable to move or say anything. it had been way too long and camila couldn’t believe this was happening. she had no idea that he was back in town but she figured he was probably visiting his family. camila has tried to stay away from all of his films as much as possible, she avoided articles about him, scrolled through any photo of him that popped up on her facebook or instagram simply because she was trying to move on. and she has been doing just that by recently getting proposed to. though the man that was standing right before her could never compare to the man she was currently dating. and as much as she tried to push her true feelings away, she knew that keenan was the only man she had ever truly loved. and still did. “keenan... oh my god,” she exclaimed, arms immediately wrapping around him as she pulled him into a hug. maybe that wasn’t the best thing to do but she couldn’t stop herself. with her eyes closed, she kept her arms around him for a moment before pulling away. “i- i can’t believe you’re here.”

“c’mere.” brock said with a little smile as he motioned her over to come and sit on his lap. once the two of them were done their dinner, he pulled her close to his chest and wrapped his arms around her waist. he knew that it was hard for her to see him like this when he had bruises all over his body or when he had to fight on the ice. if she could, she would probably just want him to play the game and not get hurt at all, but they both knew that wasn’t possible. his job wasn’t too dangerous, but it was far from sitting behind a desk all day. “yeah, sure i get tired, but it’s what signed up for you know?” he muttered as he kept her close and gently started to rub her back. thankfully he hadn’t been injured too badly. some of his teammates had been in the hospital for days, weeks, even months due to some of the things that happened on the ice. not only that, some of his teammates had ending careers, and he was just so thankful that it wasn’t him up in a hospital bed. who knew what the two of them would do if he was ever hurt like that. he couldn’t ask her just to come out and see him when she had so much on her plate, but thankfully they weren’t in that situation. 

“i’m always careful.” his smile widened a bit as he leaned back to look at her. if he could give her the world, he would in a heartbeat. maybe one day he would be able to take her all over the world, wherever her heart desired but for now she had to worry about school and he had to worry about hockey. “you’re gonna be wishing i was gone when i come back home.” he teased as he pulled her close once again. he was so glad to be home when the season ended. part of him wished that it would end sooner even though he did want his team to win the stanley cup. a happy sigh slipped his lips as he pecked her cheek and playfully rested a hand on her ass. “why don’t you go relax and i’ll handle the dishes. go put on a movie or something and i’ll be right in.” the two never really had any down time, and he missed her so much whenever he went to bed. it wasn’t the same rolling over and not seeing her beautiful face, so now at least they could make up for some lost time. as he finally go up, he took all of their plates to the sink, rolled up his sleeves and started to clean them. 

it didn’t take too long to wash everything, and once he was done he put everything away before joining her back in her room. he flopped on her bed with a happy sigh, kicked his shoes off and pulled her close to his chest once again. “hopefully i’m a better cuddlier than your bear.” he teased as he gently rubbed her side. “you know i really missed you.” he muttered as he gave her another smile. “that’s why i got this weekend off. i’ve been begging my coach over and over again to come and see you, and he finally said yes.” they did have some practices this weekend but he would just have to miss them. right now, she was much more important. 

“i know. but still, you know? i can’t help it, i worry about you,” she sighed as she leaned in to leave a kiss on his cheek. elena knew he was careful and she knew that with his job, bruises and all of that stuff came along. but being the worry that she was, it was hard for her not to think about worst case scenarios in her head which only made things worse but elena couldn’t really help it. when she cared about someone so deeply like she cared about him, she just worried a lot. “may i look at all those bruises? although i’m only using this as an excuse to see you shirtless, you know?” she wiggled her eyebrows playfully while a giggle escaped her lips.

“no way. i honestly wish we could be together all the time,” she smiled, leaning in to kiss him softly. “no but really. i love spending time with you. you make me feel so good, it’s unbelievable. i just feel like i can be myself around you, i can talk to you about anything and everything. plus it comes with a bonus of being able to kiss you and cuddle you and all of that fun stuff whenever i want,” she chuckled, nudging his arm with her own. “babe, you’ve been on a plane for hours, i’m sure you’re exhausted. the last thing you need to be doing right now are dishes.” but he was already taking the plates and walking over to the kitchen. it made her smile though, it only showed how much he cared about her and how he was willing to help around, it truly did make her feel special. “you’re the best,” she said as she walked over to him and kissed his cheek before she headed back to her room.

elena looked for a movie on netflix and it didn’t take long for her to choose. she put on how to lose a guy in ten days and waited for brock to join her before she played the movie. “i hope this one’s okay? i love kate hudson in this film so much. and matthew mcconaughey is also super funny. if you want me to find something else though, just tell me,” she said with a smile as she waited for him to join her in her bed. elena moved closer, resting her head on his chest while wrapping one arm around him, she made herself more comfortable and pulled a blanket over the two of them. it felt so good to be this close to him again, these were the evenings she cherished so much. if she could, she would spend every single night like this with him. “my bear is a pretty good cuddle buddy, not gonna lie,” she teased. “but nothing can compare to you, obviously.” she chuckled as she started rubbing his side gently. “i missed you too. so much. how about you never leave again, hm?” she teased as she looked up and winked playfully. “i’m sure your couch would go out of his mind if that happened,” elena laughed.

“Oh, so it isn’t enough that you’re occupying half my bed, but now you want me to order you food?” Landon asked, his eyes gleaming playfully. “Ridiculous - some guest you are.” He was kidding, obviously, though he scoffed and reached for his phone. “What are you feeling?”

“Exactly.” She teased, winking at him playfully. “Well I haven’t had chinese in a while? And I’m kinda craving that. What do you think?” She smiled, getting a little more comfortable. “Or we can do pizza as well, that’s always a good choice.” She giggled.

Blake turned back to give her a quick smile at her comment.  They weren’t going somewhere private to simply catch up, but they could do that another time.  Once they were inside he closed the door and locked it so that no one would take in on them.  He then took her hands in his and sat on the edge of the bed with her standing in front of him.  Even thought she was older now she hadn’t gotten all that much taller so they were much closer to eye level when he sat.

“So listen, I know that you used to have feelings for me that I couldn’t really reciprocate,” he said to get right to the point, “I always loved spending time together so I never pushed you away and part of me wondered if that was a mistake.  Honestly, I had the opportunity to leave sooner than I did, but I stayed because of you.  Eventually I decided it would be better for you if I left so you could move on, but it was so abrupt that I am worried that I may have hurt you.  I thought about you a lot, but didn’t keep in touch because I didn’t want to keep you from finding someone younger that you could be with.”  His explanation was heartfelt and full of pain.  “You were always like a little sister to me and I only want what is best for you, but you were the only person I wanted to see tonight,” he continued before kissing her cheek, “Anyhow, you’d so beautiful, I’m sure you have a boyfriend now that would be jealous of me for being in here with you.”

Once he took a hold of her hands, her gaze fell down before she looked back up into his eyes and listened to him, her lips slightly parting and eyes widening. She was a bit taken aback by his words but it definitely warmed her heart to know how he felt about her. The corners of her lips curled into a small smile and she shook her head, not knowing what to say, really.

Though as soon as he mentioned her probably having a boyfriend, a laugh escaped her lips and she shook her head, letting him know that there wasn’t a man in her life at the moment. “Oh, no, not actually. I’m as single as I can be,” she laughed once again. “I mean I recently got dumped actually. But now that I’m here... I’m glad I did,” she smirked, biting down on her lower lip. If Elena had to be honest, all the guys she’s been with throughout those years could never compare to Blake and that was a fact. It was strange but she just couldn’t get over him and his departure, maybe that was the reason why all the relationship she’s been through ended so fast. With a smirk on her face, she pulls herself closer to him as her hands landed on his chest and she tilted her head. “I hated you for leaving,” she paused, hands sliding down his chest. “But if you had never left, we probably wouldn’t have been standing here right now and I wouldn’t be able to do this,” and with those words, she was leaning in to press her lips against his and kiss him passionately, something she has always wanted to do.
