My most popular theme coming back for a second round, what with the release of Jace’s Spellbook. What sort of spells does your fanwalker utilize in their adventures across the Multiverse?

Darius'magic manifests in his brews more than as spells, but he does have a hold on abzan sandcrafting for defence or escape, using spells like Sandblast and Duneblast. He also has a tendency to casually Cultivate to help kickstart the growth of necessary ingredients for his drinks, especially if his time on a plane is limited

What kind of spells does your fanwalker utilize in their quest across the Multiverse?

Halona and, even though I image her auras/umbras are more flashy, I think she gets more utility out of her anti-magic nature (Anti-Magic Aura, Mystic Veil, or Asceticism in nature/mechanics, but with the flavor of Avoid Fate, Discombobulate, Wild Ricochet, and the like in mind).

(I was tempted to use Sharp-Ear for this, but silencing magic doesn’t have much going on visually) 

One of Tehso’s best tricks late into his story is creating an avatar/double to mimic fighting alongside his twin (something akin to Battle Mastery or Soul’s Fire), but at pretty much every point in his story he’s a decent enough pyromancer, with something akin to Searing Spear in appearance

Darius isnt too competent with his magics... if he has to, he resorts to the abzan sandcraft to defend or escape in the haze, using the spells like sandblast and duneblast, and then he occasionally uses agricultural magics like cultivate to help kickstart the growth of necessary ingredients for his brews

My Co2 canister fell over and now the regulator is busted and one of the gauges leaks air when its on :/ anyone know if i can just take that one gauge off and cap it or does it need to be replaced for the regulator to work?

The Abzan turn to this spell only as a last resort, for its inevitable result is what they most dread: to be alone.

Our first homebrew worthy of actually sticking a name too, because it tastes so good we'll definitely be brewing it up again. Say hello to Nexus American Pale Ale, and its use of cascade hops.

Brewing update

Ive moved into forced carbonation with a canister of Co2 and a keg instead of bottle fermenting, so now i have homebrew on tap! I also picked up a machine the other day called a Robobrew for brewing from grain so now i can theoretically buy the materials and make beer from scratch! Ive got a SMaSH (single malt and single hop) going now to try it out! Wish me luck

TARKIR

Dragons once thrived on the plane of Tarkir. They spawned from mighty elemental storms, filled the sky with their destructive breath, and terrorized the five ancient warrior clans. But the dragons met their fate long ago.

For many years, the clans fought a war against the dragons for their own survival, hoping for some way to gain an advantage in the struggle. At a crucial turning point over a thousand years ago, the dragon tempests stopped coming, and no new dragons were spawned. Their numbers thinned, and the tide of the war changed. Ultimately, the warriors of the clans were able to hunt down the last of the sky-beasts and destroy them. Dragons were rendered extinct on the plane, never to return. In the centuries that followed, the five warrior clans claimed dominion over Tarkir, growing and evolving into today’s powerful clans.

@ashibalt Other than the Abzan on Tarkir, who he aligned with just before his spark ignited, Darius has not aligned with any particular groups. He prefers to fly under the radar. He has, although, had a run in with the Azorius for somekind of illicit distribution of alcohol. He didnt quite understand the problem and chose to just hightail it to another plane the next chance he could.

An abzan ainok who makes tasty brews with ingredients from across the multiverse; sign me up! I like this because it can shut down your opponents dudes pretty harshly, or also beef your dudes if you plan and build around it carefully with high toughness dudes!!
