When you start lying to yourself and validating your sins you will start to deceive yourself and drift further away from God
When you validate your sins as to why God will be okay with it, when it clearly is stated in the Bible for you to turn away from it, these verses show what will become of it. When you stop fearing for your salvation and stop listening to feeling convictions, the feelings will eventually stop. You will start lying to yourself so well that you start believing yourself more then the word of God!
â26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this manâs religion is vain.â- James 1:26
