Another splash of colour with Marie-Josee to wrap up the year.
From a shoot i did with the always lovely MJ.
An old shot that i always intended to edit but had never got around to it. Got the itch to do some post processing so i chose to work on this photo.
This was taken about a year ago but processed today with some Lightroom, VSCO film, and photoshop for good measure.
Loved the purple hues at dusk, made them pop a little more with some VSCO Film packs.
I was pleasantly surprised to nail focus on this passing crow using the 55-200mm XF lens. Sadly i was quick enough to zoom in on him, but i like the contrast with the clouds.
It doesn't look like it, but i was about waist deep in snow when i snapped this one. Used some VSCO Film packs for processing.
Did some heavy post-processing on this one.
I love me some good silhouettes. These are straight out of the camera, no alterations made in Lightroom.
So this is a semi-happy mistake. I was trudging through some very deep snow with a camera in each hand and fell. I managed to keep the cameras out of the white and fluffy but the lens hood worked like a very effective shovel scooping some up. Some droplets on the front element inspired me to see what kind of a flare i'd get.
Now i know.
Trying some black and white with the Fuji. The conversion done in Lightroom but i may have to create an in camera profile to try and somewhat replicate my beloved Bold Monochrome from the Pentax Q.
Another day of exploring the winter woods.
