The cat’s outta the bag! As the solicit for this has now gone live, we can proudly declare - FAIRLADY is our new ongoing series from Image Comics. Who’s “we”? Claudia Balboni and Marissa Louise on art duties, with Brian Schirmer tackling the writing. We’ve been working on this series for a loooong time, and we are overjoyed to finally be bringing it to YOU, starting this April 10th!

What’s it all about? Well…

Every fantasy epic ends with a war. But what happens when the war is over? After posing as a man to join the army, Jenner Faulds returns home to The Feld for a new start as a “Fairman”—a specially licensed private investigator. But sexism didn’t end on the battlefield, and as the only “Fairlady,” Jenner gets stuck with the cases nobody else wants. Hitting the streets to solve The Feld’s overlooked mysteries, Jenner finds that the smallest cases hide the biggest secrets. Writer Brian Schirmer, artist Claudia Balboni (Star Trek), and colorist Marissa Louise team up for FAIRLADY—an all-new series with the procedural case-solving of Magnum P.I. and Fables, but set in a vibrant, RAT QUEENS-like high fantasy world. Plus, this—and every—issue contains a complete 30-page story!

Cool, yeah? Oh, and as you can see above, we’re offering up TWO different covers every month for you to choose from. Cover A for our debut issue is by Claudia and Marissa, while our first Cover B is by none other than Tula Lotay!

Last but not least, allow me to underscore that… Every issue of FAIRLADY will contain a complete story. No waiting to find out whodunnit or how it ends. Plus, if for some reason you miss #1 or just decide to start reading the series a little down the road, you can pick up any issue, get a whole tale, and not feel lost at all. We’ve got you covered.
