//Mod speaking: Why I Quit
The video wonāt upload šš„ so Iām js gonna type it out.
(Some) People started to treat me like Iām a content machine. And they would get upset when I wouldnāt postā or when I wouldnāt respond immediately to their asks. And when you have 30+ inbox notifs a day, it becomes a lot.
People started coming after me instead of Burr. Again, not all of you, but some people genuinely started getting mad at ME for doing something they didnāt like/just to hate. No lore attached, no sauce no nothing just straight up insults flung my way for just existing. It genuinely got super tiring, especially combined with my first reason. It is NEVER that serious. If youāre so mad at me, block me and go take a walk outside. š«© There is a person behind the screen, Iām a fucking human. š
It was taking over my life, I couldnāt peruse the things I liked to do because people always expected more of me.
But anyways,
I wanted to thank everyone for being so awesome. When I first made this blog, I never expected it to get big. At the time there were SO many Burr accounts, and I thought I would get piled under them. But I didnāt, somehow.
Thank you all for the piles and piles of fanart, i appreciate them ALL, thank you for the animations, the fics, theories, etc. I never expected or thought that I would get a fanbase, but Iām super happy that I did. You are all so talented, and thank you to everyone who made anon accounts! And who actively participated in the rp! You all rock! And thank you to those whoāve been watching since purple candle! And those who helped solve my arg! That was a complete blast and probably my favorite Burr saga
Thank you ESPECIALLY to Ari (Jefferson) and Faust (Captain Peacock), yall genuinely made the rp experience 10000x better, and I wouldnāt have been able to do any of it without yall š„¹
Maybe one day in the future Iāll bring Burr back. But Iām gonna rest until then, like I said earlier I got over 30 asks a day and Iām tired, I can finally be free š¤

Ash. Let me start by saying I have loved this blog. I adored the ARG of the original purple candle saga, and this arc has been fantastic with the anons and other participating characters. Altoug it has gotten off the rails here and there, I have loved the journey.
Second, to the anons, fanartists, and peacock crew, thank you as well. I dont think this blogās rebirth would be as fun without any of you. Thank you for keeping this blog energetic and fun.
Third, although I will be sad to see this blog go, I hope your health improves. Im quitting my own sideblog in 2 weeks for similar reasons (health related; i am not getting threats thankfully.).
From projecting onto the little guy, pain, args, lore, OC interactions, and the whole presidential election, it has been a journey. I hope everyone whoās been following this blog (and you too moot for running it š„¹) have a fantastic day!!
