she’s known for being cute and motherly asf to the point of it being a problem. she doesn’t think much of herself at all and believes herself to just be an intermediate step for people aaaaaannnnd she’ll never share this
her feeling of perpetual inadequacy comes from the fact that her father, her favorite person in the world at one point, was leading a double life. her mother discovered one summer that the reason why their family moved away from italy was to distance the emersons from her father’s other family based in italy that he’d visit on “business trips”
she kinda sorta thought that this meant she was replaceable so she distanced herself from all her close friends
the most prominent aspect of her distancing herself was going on the show and her desire to distance herself/need to please caused her reputation to be ruined and now she’s back, a lil stronger, wanting to reclaim her reputation as the good girl
