Okay weird girl time:

Do shades of days long past ever press suddenly upon you? Memories, moments, single snapshots of a time and place that you inhabited once? I call it “time traveling” bc it happens to me unbidden. Suddenly, I’m in a place I was in twenty years ago.

I get transported there through the pathways of my mind, I suppose. I suppose I’m always wandering even without knowing.

I think these hold some spiritual importance for me, like it sometimes feels intentional, as if I was going back in time for a specific reason.

You know, there are some ghost stories where kids report being haunted by a ghost, only to grow up and recognize the ghost as their older selves.
