I keep thinking warmer weather is coming, and then it just doesn’t. Some days, it seems like the temperature might rise, but its just been a tease. My allergies aren’t built for this, I can say that much.

Mondays will never be my favorite days of the week, but I’m happy this one went by pretty quickly. I would ask if anyone has big plans tonight, but again I say, it’s Monday. Did everyone at least survive alright?

As much as I always look forward to coming back home after an extended business trip, even I have to admit something seems a little off around here. I’ll cross my fingers that it’s just a case of jet leg and exhaustion, but I’ve seen more than a few people giving each other strange looks. Anyone care to fill me in on what I’ve missed?

Oh, woah, hey! Uhm, I guess I had better introduce myself since I just got in. I’m Javier Lopez, but pretty much everyone calls me Javi, so you can do that too. I’m a submissive, and I went to an academy like this one in New Jersey. After four years I decided to come here, to continue my education and working on building a solid life. Plus, my sister Santana is here, so I feel I have a petty safe launching pad into a new school.

Thinking about hitting up the club tonight.

Luke was in the academy café, sitting by a booth with his laptop, trying to do some research. Conversations he'd had lately had left him with a lot to think about, and he he was trying to get informed, hoping it'd make him less confused, even if it was also very intimidating to do so. He sighed, rubbing his face, the more he read, the more confused he seemed to get. He wasn't sure what any of this meant, his raising hadn't been exactly pro self discovery, and label positive, but he also didn't feel like he could talk to this to anyone, and he didn't want to go back to the therapist, because if he went back, then it was... Something.

He sipped his coffee, and looked down at a book he had picked up at the library, opening it and flipping pages a little. Despite all the confusion, he was a little hopeful. He didn't know what he was, and if he was any of this, but regardless, it seemed more people than he ever expected had trouble with concepts like crushes, and affection for affection's sake. So maybe he wasn't as broken as he'd felt.
