How about a new ice breaker? Corre, corre. Feel free to ask my a true or false question and I'll let you know whether you're right about whether I like it or not.
He hummed, "I'm glad you feel so." He liked it that Tony said he had a hard time saying no to him, and when the other leaned in, he was surprised, but stroked his back slowly, his fingers half curled and immobile, not to put stress on them, as he did. At the kiss, he looked up and reached his other hand to run his thumb along Tony's cheek, keeping his tone gentle as he answered, "No. And I'm not going to. I hit them first. My only concern now is to make sure that this is where it ends, and no one else is hurt because of my actions." Also, remind them of their place, which he had other means to do.
At the question, he looked down, in thought, "I'm fine, I'm just--- I don't usually lose my temper like I did. I don't regret teaching them a lesson, but I do wish I had acted differently. And I'm not looking forward to having to explain this to my brother." He was silent for a long time then, twirling his drink, before he spoke up more quietly, confessing to Tony something he hadn't told anyone yet, "they were talking about him. My brother. Ever since the accident things have been--" he shook his head, "I should've done better than I did with him. I'm not used to it. Family. I hadn't seen him in years, when the news got to me. Hunter was always... Invincible. I couldn't imagine seeing him torn apart. I wasn't sure what to do with it. And then one night I heard them talking." He clenched his jaw, "and I knew there was one thing I could do. I shut them up. But I knew ever since that one day something would come out of it. I made my decision as a man and I won't complain about the consequences. But I'm also not going to let them be a threat to anyone else, because of it." He sighed, sipping his drink, "it's all under control, it's just. An annoyance."
As if he could read Tony's mind, Luke continued to shower him in affection. It didn't feel like he was faking it until he made it either, it felt like he was learning through Tony. He might have never seen interest or felt the need to be affectionate before, but he did seem to now. Tony took a special sense of pride in that, not just because it meant he got special attention but because Luke got to experience it. There was nothing wrong with being aromantic or not wanting anything to do with it, but it felt special that he had been able to share this and open that door. He leaned into every touch, his expression and demeanor softening and getting softer by the second as he sunk into their dynamic and the atmosphere, kissing the hand that stroked his cheek on the palm.
It surprised Tony that Luke had thrown the first hit, but things cleared up when he heard the whole story. Luke was a protective person that took his role as a Dominant to heart at all times. Even without the injury, he could see why Luke would hit someone for talking badly about his brother. Add the injury on top and obviously, tensions were already high. He brought a gentle hand down on the other man's chest, drawing tender circles through the fabric as he listened, waiting until the end to speak. "Obviously, I'm worried about you getting beaten up. And I'm worried about this not ending... I don't want to see you get hurt, and round three could be worse than this. If you haven't already, I can ask for higher security around here. I don't have to say why. I trust you though; if you say it's taken care of, I'll try not to worry." The last thing Luke needed was to worry about Tony freaking out, so he wanted to make that clear.

At least you got to see it. Yeah, I’m out. It’s as nice as it looks like it would be. A little chilly, but I was prepared for that.
Because of you, thanks for that. If you get cold, I can bring you a sweater, or a scarf. Whatever you need. What are you doing Saturday?
itsbenjicorcoran:
It’s almost 11:00 PM on a Thursday night, but I think I’ll take a walk. The sky is so clear tonight, I would kick myself if I missed it. @bridgeportstarters
It is a nice night, you made me look out the window to check. Are you already out? How is it?
PM: It's always nice to hear it. That is true. Speaking of which, I'll have to miss your beautiful face on Saturday. I need the apartment for a conversation with someone I'm hoping I can be of help to. I'll let you know when it's clear. I've never been spoiled before, but I can hardly imagine this not working for that. Sweet boy. Come home soon, will you?
PM: I like being with you. Staying with you has been amazing, and I plan on staying until you kick me out. That's fine, I'll keep clear. You'd never been gifted by a sub before either, and here we are. I like collecting these firsts, you're cute when you're happy. Yeah? I'm on my way, mi vida. I'll be home soon. There's someone there that I need to kiss.
PM: I was aware. Unless you're trying to tell me you were here under duress before the events of the weekend. Mayhap, but flies flying around one's face can still have the power to annoy. What a good caring boy. Are you trying to spoil me?
PM: I think you know the only duress was consensual, Sir. That is true, but they are just flies. We can stay here, inside. Then you only have to see me. Maybe I am, is it working? I just want to take care of you. I know you want these bruises gone as soon as possible, if I can make that happen I will.
PM: I like you being here. Teasing? Doesn't sound like me. I'm just fine. Not appreciating the looks around campus today, but otherwise. Maybe I should had reconsidered the make up artist just for this.
PM: Yo know, you don't have to get punched for me to spend this much time here. Mmmhm, sure. Let people look, that's all the power they have. For it to mean anything, you have to let it. We can ice your face again tonight, I found a bruise ointment too.
The way Tony reacted did make him feel better. Once he realized he wasn't going to be barraged with questions, or that he wasn't leaving the switch in such a state of worry that he would need to be comforted, instead, Luke relaxed some. He smiled some when he said he was easy, and reached a hand to brush a thumb gently across his cheek, before letting it down, as he moved on to the couch.
"Good boy," he said, fondly, even though his voice was tired, when Tony acquiesced. He took the glass, and let the other hold his hand, both were split and bruised in the knuckles, but he didn't mind. He shook his head then, and held him a little tighter to keep him from getting up, "in a moment," he promised. "I've been to the hospital wing and they've patched me up some. You can redo it later." He said, gently, taking a sip then and closing his eyes for a moment. He had already asked Sebastian to keep an eye on Hunter, and he needed to text his contact again to see if he was keeping an eye on the other Doms and they'd left. Slowly, he started to say, "I trust you to keep this to yourself. But during my Junior College, just before I came here, I had an altercation with four other Doms. Truth be told, I beat them up, for reasons related to my family. Apparently they decided tonight was a good night for retribution." He sipped more of his drink, looking at Tony for his reaction.
Seeing the state Luke was in, Tony had clipped the title at the end of his 'yes' to make sure the other man didn't feel obligated to hold control in this moment. The praise him smile all the same, and he took Luke's initiative there to mean that he was alright with their normal dynamic. As he was held back from getting up, he made it easy and leaned in, watching Luke with calculated eyes until it was clear that someone had already taken care of everything. "Okay-- since you've already been looked over. It's hard to say no to you in general, but especially for this." Being held was nice, he could feel there was affection there. Moments like this proved that he was right when he said that Luke had everything he needed inside of himself to give the right person everything they wanted and needed; affection and love included.
When he heard what had happened, it was a little harder to keep all reactions off of his face and it was clear that he was concerned. Anyone would be, but Tony wasn't from the same social circles as the Claringtons, so this wasn't commonplace for him. Still, he wasn't about to lose composure or put anymore worry on Luke's shoulders. Instead, he kissed his cheek gently. "Did you report this?" He asked, wondering if someone might be back to try again. Luke didn't seem like the kind of guy to fight physically, something big must have happened. "I know you said already that you are, but... are you okay? Like really okay." Mentally too, not just physically.

I hope that isn’t a bad thing, and that you’re doing well. We should have coffee sometime, and catch up. Things have been a little quiet, though I have a feeling I’ll regret saying as much sooner rather than later.
Not at all, I’m doing well. Thank you. We should, I’d say you know where to find me but I did just say I’d need to schedule anything outside of classes. What are you up to this week? Maybe you will, maybe you won’t. I happen to like a little bit of loud.
Private: Am I keeping you too much?
PM: Not at all, I'm happy to be here. But I figured I should probably say something about my absence, before someone ends up sitting in my office, waiting for me to show up when I won't be there. The look on your face says you're teasing. How are you feeling, guapo?
bridgeportlopez:
Mondays will never be my favorite days of the week, but I’m happy this one went by pretty quickly. I would ask if anyone has big plans tonight, but again I say, it’s Monday. Did everyone at least survive alright?
@bridgeportstarters
Fun choice of words. Survived, yes. It looks like you did too. How are you? Besides happy for the end of the day. Are you still hanging out at the princess shop in town?
You may have noticed, I'm not as easy to get in contact with recently. My office hours have been snipped, if you're looking for me you'll need to text me and schedule something.

Everything with Tony was so new. Luke had been trying his best not to break it. He'd been trying to understand himself better, doing research, and inviting Tony over had been a big step for him. He was glad the other had accepted. And he'd also been glad to have him there when he'd been worried about him being sick, and later about some horny rando possibly hurting him. He found he preferred it when he got to see him, know he was okay, and have him under his care. But right now he didn't really know how to handle it.
He winced a little, and turned his eyes away at the question, licking his lips. "It's complicated..." He said, sighing. "Let's sit. Can you grab me a whiskey?" He asked, pointing towards the bar cart, as he went to sit heavily on the couch. He also hated to look any sort of weak in front of one of his subs, despite the fact he had been outnumbered and still got away with it.
In a way, things with Luke were new for Tony too. He'd never met anyone like the Dom. His needs and the way his mind worked was different, he suspected that a lot of his history was different too. They were learning each other though, and as this scene unfolded Tony's thoughts were on the best way to act in this moment, for Luke. His expression was warm and fond, concerned but not overly. Instead of shock or negativity, he made sure there was a soft smile on his face, something that said he was happy to see the other man and the bruises on his face weren't the star.
"Isn't it always?" He replied with just a dash of his usual sass. Complicated seemed to be the theme of this year, sometimes. "But I'm here, and I'm easy." He left it there, a simple reminder. "Yes," he replied to the request for a drink, leaning in to kiss a spot on Luke's face that looked like it shouldn't hurt to be touched before moving to do as was asked. He knew where everything was, and how the other man liked it prepared. Bringing the glass back, he offered it with one hand and reached for Luke's hand with the other, cautious of the fact that he had no idea what had happened, whether there was a fight or an accident, or what Luke's hands looked and felt like. "Let me clean you up, I'll start a bath."
Luke knew this was inevitable, but he still sighed as he made his way back to the apartment. He was patched up, having been confirmed to have bruised ribs, lots of split and bruised knuckles, and the rest of the worst being on his face, cut lip, eyebrow, and nose, and bruises galore.
He had hoped that Tony would go to sleep, half wishing he hadn't been there tonight. He knew he couldn't hide this, unless he hired an around the clock professional make up artist or something, but he had still hoped he wouldn't have to have a confrontation tonight. He was used to taking care of these things on his own, so he wasn't even sure what to expect, aside from a lot of questions he didn't want to answer.
He made his way inside, and toed off his shoes, groaning low as shouldered off his jacket, feeling the soreness. Tomorrow was going to be a bitch. At least the apartment was dimly lit.
After being invited to spend time with Luke while he got through the tail end of whatever had made him sick, and then again while this insanity took over the school and made people act like animals, Tony had gotten fond of staying over. Things seemed to be calming down as people either got over the feeling or got used to it, but Tony stuck around. At this point, he'd gotten comfortable enough to let himself in and hang out on the couch with the tv as he waited. It was common for Luke to find Tony just like that now.
Tonight was just like any other night he'd chosen to come over. He'd expected Luke to be in already, but he wasn't too concerned. The Dom was a grown man with the ability to handle himself and do whatever he wanted, there was no reason as far as Tony knew to suspect that anything was wrong or different than any other day. He'd been considering whether or not he should send a text when Luke did first, and he wasn't worried until the vagueness continued. Knowing Luke, it seemed likely that he was avoiding something. When the door opened, it was clear that he was right. Something was wrong, Luke was walking differently, favoring a side and holding himself differently; like he didn't want to be seen. Tony rose from the couch to greet the other man, which was also normal, but as he got closer the shades on Luke's face were not normal. Concern showed on Tony's face and he reached up to gently touch a spot that seemed unharmed with a tenderness from care. "What happened?"
Luke: You don't have to wait up. I'll be there before too long.
Tony: You're being very vague, mi vida. I'll stay up, I want to see you.
Luke: Not sure. I need to take a detour.
Tony: Oh?
