“been a while since you’ve seen a record store... hm.” she wondered what that meant but she didn’t necessarily care that much. bridget chuckled when he asked for the beatles. of course. she also found it funny that he thought she worked there, but she was down to go with it. “are you sure? the beatles, really?”

RIPPING the cigarette from pink lips, green orbs avert, turning in the direction of the redhead. ‘ the hunger’s really toying with me today. ’ and at this point in time, with the hunger boiling inside the empty pit, there was a strong possibly that once he teeth was to penetrate flesh, he wouldn’t be able to STOP.

bridget felt a rush when the words left his mouth and she nodded, putting her hands on her hips and looking around. “well, then let’s get you something to eat.” she told him, looking back at him and smirking. “besides me, of course.”

Fitz threw her another look when he heard her soft laugh, but went back to his search. He shook his head, half rolling his eyes, letting out a sigh. “The Beatles are alright, heavily overplayed. I’m looking for The Who, their Who’s Next album to be exact. It’s probably one of the best albums any classic rock band has ever made. Two and a half hours or pure genius. What about you?” 

“eh, close enough.” she commented, giving him a look before turning her focus to the store itself. she really hadn’t been looking for anything in particular, but she caught an album out of the corner of her eye and picked it up, holding it up for him. “joni mitchell’s blue.”

slender digits grasp the chrome handle of the store’s glass doors as he steps in. emerald hues lighting up as the familiar voice rings into his ears, brow arching at her comment at she stepped closer. vessel shifts as the body is pressed back against the table, polished shoes crossing as he looks down at the locks of red hair. ‘ come on darling, you know i always look good. ’ a smirk forming at plump lips, winking down at the girl. ‘ if you’ve ever thought anything different, this relationship we have is coming to a quick halt. ’

she chuckled as she looked up at her creator, rolling her eyes as he winked down at her. she had a deep love for him, especially on days like this one, where he looked extra delicious. “i hope you’re aware that you can tell me i look good, too. not that i need you to. but it would sound nice.” she told him, stepping closer and resting a hand on his chest. “your answer is acceptable for now. as for later, i’m not so sure.”

bridget stared at the other woman, her face appearing unphased by the unexpected tone that was being used. she let her eyes flicker over to the vervain, looking back at the yelling woman and smirking slightly. this woman thought she could intimidate bridget with some vervain? she clearly didn’t know anything about bridget or how she lived her life. no one intimidated her. “mmm, but you look like you taste very good.” she told the woman, biting her lip as she checked her out. “are you single?” she asked, running her fingers through her hair.

The record store happened to be one of Fitz’s favorite spots in town, his music collection was definitely something he took pride in. He frequently visited the spot a couple times a week, already on a first name basis with the employees. Flipping through the new inventory they got, he wasn’t expecting anyone to approach him, so hearing the quiet voice beside him nearly caught him off guard. He looked down at himself after hearing her words. “Thanks…my mom got me this shirt.”

she chuckled at his words, looking him up and down as she crossed her arms over her chest. “cute.” she told him, finding it hilarious that he would admit that too her. such a human thing to do. “lemme guess, you’re here to look at some tired beatles record.”

the record store immediately caught his eye– it’d been quite some time since he’d been to one, probably back when he was a teenager. they had disappeared since then, but suddenly returned with the rise of hipsters and their desire for all things ‘ vintage .’ shrugging, he ducked into the store to check it out. within seconds a petite red head had marched right up to him. ❝ uh— thanks ? ❞ she was cute, yeah, but a little strange. the not so young man thought nothing more of it and began browsing the store, every once in a while peaking at her over his shoulder.

it had been a while since she had been changed and she had learned that this version was, if nothing else, persistent. she took note of the way the guy continued to look through the store and headed back to an aisle, pretending to look at things while she noticed him peer over his shoulder. she turned to look at him, giving him a gentle smile as she caught his eye. “looking for anything specific?” she asked him, no part of her asking out of curiosity.

                         she was visiting her fourth store of the day , keeping a detailed list of what the places looked like && who worked there ; she would add any valuable information to her journal when she returned home. she looked up when she heard a voice , instantly recognizing the look in her eyes as something other than human. bingo. the brunette made a mental note of this , not exactly surprised by the development. so far , the town seemed to be choked with supernaturals , something she wasn’t exactly pleased with. “          i know , ”  she replied , her tone && expression cool. she preceded through the store , keeping her senses alert.

bridget was slightly taken aback by the reply, eyebrows scrunching together as the woman walked away from her. no one walked away from bridget, at least, not on a good day. she took the cool tone with a grain of salt and continued to walk with the woman, not ready to give up unless she got the amount of attention she required. “i bet i can guess what you’re looking for.”

the expression previously expressed never truly left, it only deepened. normally, the male would be excited to see the devil that normally perked his shoulder but that wasn’t now. the pits of his stomach were empty and he was starving, trying to curve those cravings by smoking the tobacco.

bridget had known him her entire dead life, so she could tell that something was different. after two hundred something years, you pick up on things. bridget’s head tilted to the side as her eyes slowly moved down and back up the older man’s face. “what’s wrong, love?”

hands coated in grease and dark stains across his white shirt, hector worked on his hog. not that it needed work, this old motorbike was running smoothly and part of that because the boone son kept its maintenance regularly. muscled arms worked with a wrench to ensure its perfection, and a drop of sweat ran freely through the side of his forehead, one that hector swat away with the back of his hand. his toolbox was a bit far from his reach when he realized he needed pliers. pathetically, his long arm flailed as he tried to reach it, unsuccesfully. through his frustration, hector noticed he was being observed. “what? never saw a man working in his bike before? no shame here.” he begrudgingly told his witness. “though i’d be willing to forgive that if you could pass me that little plier over there.”

bridget had been absolutely bored out of her mind when she spotted the delicious piece of ass working on his bike. she stopped to watch, not even attempting to be subtle. on a regular night, she would’ve attempted to kill a man like this. the strong ones gave her a bit of a game and the hot ones gave her something to look at. but tonight was not a regular night. she had gotten dinner from an old couple on their way home from bingo so she was full and in need of some entertainment. when he spoke with a bit of attitude, she grinned, glad that he wouldn’t be boring. “oh, i’ve seen it before. you’re just sexy and i wanted to watch. nothing wrong with that, right?” she picked up the plier and tossed it to him, not necessarily caring if he caught it or not.

her face went from a charged smile to a sinister smirk in about a third of a second when she heard his words, watching the smoke leave his mouth and tilting her head slightly. “well, it’s nice to see you, too, darling.”

PERSPIRATION, elevated pulse, shallow breathing. signs and indications of a hidden horror which shouldn’t be relived. a single flash of a raven haired boy was all it took to provoke such a reaction. imagination vividly played tricks. eyes shut, hands clenched tightly, a single deep breath taken to ease the NERVES. it isn’t real. a mantra she chanted inside her mind continuously until a noise broke her inner turmoil. a smile plastered her rose stained lips, masking all that happened in a matter of seconds. empty space was left behind. it wasn’t real. or was it ?? ‘ SORRY, daydreaming. ’ she uttered as a matter of fact. lies fabricated with such ease it was viewed as the truth.

bridget spotted the brunette and could tell in a second that she was going through something, but she didn’t necessarily care what it was. the way the girl snapped out of it and immediately plastered a smile on her face made bridget chuckle, looking at her slightly impressed. “daydreaming, right. i may be a lot of things, babe, but naive is not one of them. don’t worry, though, i don’t actually care about what you were thinking. so no nosy questions from me.”

bridget was hungry. if not for blood, at least for a bit of entertainment. she had been walking around the local record store for a few minutes, flipping through records and chuckling as she remembered the time she snorted coke off of mick jagger’s bicep. back when he was cute, of course. she looked up as she heard the bell on the door ring, her eyes sparkling with desire. she stepped closer to the person, focusing on their face before using her sense of smell to see if they were human or not. “you look good.” she said softly, meaning the compliment in a way that she knew they wouldn’t be expecting.
