Jinora was angrily tapping her foot in front of the first responders. The witch might have set off the fire alarm for the third time this month. And maybe a baking pan had a slightly darker meringue cookies but no one was hurt. Jinora sighed as she tried to explain herself.

"It's a bakery and I decided to bake something. Do you expect me to not do my job." She exasperated. Jinora tried to look for someone as as a witness. "You agree with me right? Tell this firefighter that you burned food before too!"

sookie was drawn to the loud conversation being made nearby. it seemed something bad had happened since the firedeparment stood before the building. while she had only stood there for a moment, she was already pulled into the conversation to share her opinion. " oh my ... yes i have. actually i have done it plenty of times when i first started learning how to cook. i fortunantly can now say i am more skilled and capable then that. "

amidst the bustling town square cassandra sat alone, fingers pressed into the grass as she stared into the distance, lost in contemplation. her eyes, like orbs of ancient wisdom, gazed upon the whirlwind of contemporary life. the blasting of car horns and distant chatter seemed to weave a discordant melody, contrasting sharply with the quietude of her thoughts. it was all a puzzle of smartphones and social media, a jigsaw of algorithms and instant gratification, leaving her both intrigued and bewildered, trying to decipher the enigma of the present in the context of her timeless existence.

it wasn't often sookie had a day off and time for herself. it almost made her wonder what she should be doing. after the storm the clouds had finally dissapeared which revealed a beautifull clear blue sky. sookie had eventually decided on going through the townsquare, taking a stroll and making herself more familair with everything the town had to offer. it was busy, many people taking advantage of the beautiful day. it had been a girl fully engrossed with the bystanders whom had caught her eyes, making her desire a quick conversation. " it is busy, isn't it? i haven't quite seen it this alive in a while. "

kol picked up on her scent immediately. her blood type was his favourite, and it made his mouth damn near water. even before he managed to find her face in the crowd, the original vampire knew that he had to have her. eyes scanned the area, until he found her. his eyes lit up, lips stretching into a devilish smirk as he then made his way across the room to her. "forgive me for being so forward but, you are absolutely breathtaking.." kol spoke, words laced with charm, an act that he had perfected over the centuries. eyes scanned her face, drinking in every single feature, until his gaze slowly moved down her throat, managing to pick up on her pulse. his tongue passed over his bottom lip, and his eyes then moved back to settle on hers. "can i get you a drink?"

the feeling of someone glaring burned at the nape of her neck. the odd sensation felt both a warning as a thrill. it wouldn't be long before the stranger who had been staring had made himself known. the man standing before her was breathtakingly beautiful and sookie did not have a clue how this man could see beauty in someone like her. perhaps he hadn't quite said those words, but in her mind she had added them to furfill a secret desire deep within her. it took her a moment to reply for she was stunned. " i.. well, thank ya sugah. " her think southern accent laced in her every word. " yes, sure you can. surprise me."

everyone else in the place seemed.. dull, or overly drunk. granted diana was tipsy herself but not so much so she wasn't paying attention to surroundings. ❝ well, now that is a bummer. this place is crawling with the weirdos tonight otherwise. ❞

sookie could appreciate it whenever a customer her age wanted her companion. back in bon temps it was always the other way around, they didn't know how far they needed to get away from her. " i am aware, unfortunately it feels like more often then not it is crawling with weirdos. don't tell my boss though, i do quite need this job. "

She knew a night such as the full moon caused everyone uncertainty and fear. She knew it was a night where many of their loved ones endured pain like no other. She however, did not know of any wolves, and she was willing to play it safe at home. "What should you be doing exactly?" She asked, curiosity in her voice. "Trust me, we are better off having a chill night, and not getting involved."

there were more dangers lurking around then sookie even knew about. the recent revelation of vampires should have scared her for a lifetime already, but it hadn't. making her quite the foolish woman for going out during a lockdown. still her desire to be home alone overpowered any of her rational thoughts. " you know, work or something, get my life in order. all that jazz. " not the most confident answer to start with. " would it truly enter the town ?? i don't come by any woods. "

He nodded slowly, knowing he had jumped to conclusions, and thus had come off rather stern. He took a moment to remain silent before weakly smiling. "Well , it's late -- do you want me to walk you home?" He queried, hoping not to sound too keen. "I know you don't know me but -- I am just mindful that with the recent police report, no one should be out here alone , you'd be doing me a favour?"

upon hearing his words sookie didn't quite know whether he was merely being a concerned citizen feeling he needed to his duty or a predatory man who would take advantage of her the moment they were alone. her time with eric should have made her more hard in believing anything a stranger was promising. while sookie could have easily read his mind to figure out his true intentions, she felt in her gut he was merely being concerned for her sake. " i mean, it would be kind but you don't have to. " she probably felt more objected to burden someone.

enzo looked at the younger lady with a smile and then looked around the party, he looked back at her as he heard the question and cleared his throat "yeah, just got a lot going on upstairs." enzo took a drink from his cup and then let out a small chuckle "not even sure why I'm even at this party, haven't been this age range for a while" he said with a small smile.

sookie could relate to feeling out of place in most situations. perhaps this was the first time people weren't as judgmental and therefore she fitted in more easily. " i can understand that. if you ever feel the need to share. i am known to be quite the good listener. " it came with the job she felt like and more commonly she already know more about people then anyone should. " perhaps you needed a little escape. we all do sometimes. we don't judge or at least, i don't. "

it was safe to say diana was a little tipsy, which always made her more social and liberated. she had a few drinks, now she was lining up the dart she was doing to throw and closed one eye. the dart hit the target, a smile growing on her lips and her arms went up in celebration. ❝ hell yeah! look at that, one shot, first try. ❞ the witch beamed, grabbing her beer from the nearby table. ❝ come on lets play, loser plays next round. ❞

sookie had been keeping a close eye on all the people who had been drinking in abundance. she was even more careful of the female population due to them being taken advantage of more often then she wished them to. if it hadn't been her shift, she would have joined the female. " i am afraid i am on the clock, but go have you fun. "

"You shouldn't be out here alone." His instinct was to guide anyone home who had found themselves out after hours. Most, had been somewhat cautious and abided by the curfew, however, the odd few seemed to hold a death wish. He was worried for their safety, after reports of alleged "animal attacks", he was aware of the supernatural presence.

sookie should have been afraid and hiding after everything she had just figured out about the supernatural world. the warning the male declared made her aware there might be more to the curfew then the public was letting on to. " i was just leaving work, i am on my way home. " perhaps she should have asked eric to guide her home after all. now it was too late for any of that.

"It's a curfew, we are meant to stay indoors." She had become quite acquainted with the idea of keeping a low profile at home, however, it appeared the other was contemplating venturing out into the unknown. She had heard the news, and did not intend to be the animals next dinner. "You're being silly -- the police will be out patrolling, we won't go unnoticed if we go out." Ice cream in hand, she took a spoonful and smiled at the taste.

while she was making quite the point, she didn't feel like being locked up all night somewhere that wasn't her own home. sookie should be grateful she had a place to stay, yet she was rather at home with a good book and a bad drawn at the perfect temperature. " you are right, i just wish i could have been home. there is just a lot i could be doing and should be doing. "

eric smiled softly as he looked down at sleepy sookie for a moment once again, admiring the innocence and wonder in her eyes as she hugged her pillow tightly listening to the vampire's stories. a smirk curled up his lips as she spoke. "yes -- a viking king. i guess i should've opened with that instead of trying to drain you, hm?" he replied with a chuckle, thinking back about how differently this night has gone. she was supposed to be his meal and now he was sitting on the edge of her bed, sharing stories about his life as a vampire. "i was wounded on the battlefield when i was turned, i was supposed to die with my comrades by my side. but then he came to me and killed everyone else, he introduced himself as death. he asked if i'd like to be his companion and he'd give me what i loved most -- life." he told her with a small smile on his lips as he got to reminisce about his maker for a moment, a memory he would always cherish. godric gave him everything he wanted in life and more and he would strive to do the same for his progeny, pam. "adjusting to the immortal life is always difficult for anyone but the vampire that turned me was an incredible man and taught me everything i needed to know. we were companions for many centuries. it may seem like a curse to others but there was something about my maker with his words and guidance that made it feel like a blessing." he told her truthfully, he wasn't scared like many others were when they were turned. in the face of death, eric welcomed him with open arms.

"now that i've shared my stories and secrets with you, maybe one day you'll be sitting at the end of my bed and sharing yours with me. there is something more to you than just delicious blood. whenever you're ready, please enlighten me. maybe date number two?" he told her with a smirk, his eyes filled with wonder of his own as he met her gaze. she was an intriguing girl and he couldn't keep his mind from wondering about what made her so special.

sookie should have been more afraid of him after everything he had done. he had already proven he wasn't to be trusted nor to be treated with the kindness that she had. the fact still remained she was feeling secure and safe in his presence currently. enough that the mention of him assaulting her could even bring a dopey sleepy smile on her lips. " it does make the panties drop of most woman. " perhaps it would have dropped her own now that she thought about it. it could even have happened if she was easily influenced by his glamour. which still made her question why she hadn't been swayed like others were. for someone who had lived for as long as he had, the chances of finding someone similar to her should have been tremendous.

sookie was captivated by his story, making her feel sorry for everything he had endured. she could only imagine everything he had gone through and still it wouldn't be remotely comparable to the reality of it. the truth about his dead and his former life made her feel more sympathetic for the way he had been acting, even when it shouldn't be talked right. " i am glad to hear you weren't alone at the end of it. that your maker was there for you for all of it and could guide you. i doubt i would have been capable of saying no if the roles were reversed. " without being aware of it herself, her body had moved closer to his, her fingers had reached for his. slowly but steadily her fingers had started to intertwine with his cold calloused hands. the need to touch and comfort him through this conversation was high, even though it didn't seem he was having a hard time through it. perhaps it was a way of comforting herself. gently her head would rest upon his shoulder before her eyes would close temporarily.

when he mentioned having the desire to hear her story, her gaze would lift to his. this time her chin would rest on his shoulder to meet him eye to eye. " while i appreciate your need to hear mine story. i can assure you mine is the least interesting story you have ever heard. but if you truly wish, i shall share it with you. perhaps tomorrow, or whenever it is you have the time. " sookie couldn't deny the mention of second date brought a sense of excitement that shouldn't be there to begin with. " if you say it is a date, i do want it to be a proper date. i want to be called upon, taken care of and brought home without a single bite mark on my neck. do you think you could handle that my viking king ?? " it was quite a brave and bold move on her behalf to purr those words in a flirtatious attempt. how big could she blow his echo to give her what she desired deep down.

enzo was confused as to how he was there and alive again, he was trying his best to enjoy the second chance at life, he found himself at a house party that was filled with people younger than him. A small part of him wanted to leave but also didn't want to be rude, he heard the voice of the other because he saw her, he gave her a small smile "thank you but, I have a full one" he said softly and held up his cup for a second and then back down to his side.

when he mentioned his cup was already felt, sookie felt a but stupid. she obviously could have seen that immediately still she had overlooked the fact. " oh yeah, of course, no problem. " it was during a drunken episode she was able to channel out the thoughts of others more easily, therefore she didn't quite pick up he wasn't quite what he looked like. what she did detect however was how he looked quite out of place. " hey, are you alright? "

isaac was never one to turn down an invitation to a party, regardless of whether or not he even knew the host of it. however, having spent the past several years traveling, he soon felt as though he was out of his element. beacon hills had changed so much, yet it was just as it had been before he left. he may not have partied nearly as much during his time abroad, but he seemed to fit right in with the crowd at the party despite not knowing many of them, which he certainly appreciated. it felt nice to be home again.

he took a quick glance across the room and someone instantly caught his eye. a woman, one that stood out from the crowd, was only a couple feet away from him. without thinking about it, isaac's feet led him closer to the woman, and he nodded at her proposal without a second thought. "yeah, that'd be great. thanks."

the excitement of the night and the prospect of all that could come brought a sense of exhilaration and tantalization inside of her. she was already buzzing without having a single drink yet but that was about to change. " gimme a second. i will be right back. " she mentioned to him before turning on her heels and entering the kitchen where she would claim to cups and filled them with a colorful concoction that smelled intoxicly sweet. it took her only a moment before she returned, her cups raised to the sky. " here you are. " she handed him the cup before clinking it and taking a big gulp and pulling a face. " oh gosh darn it, that is foul. " sookie should have known not to trust a part mix. " my apologies, should i get you a beer instead ?? "

the vampire brought the closet with ease to the empty corner she was pointing to and then turned to her with a soft smile as he noticed her yawns and eye flutters. he still had a few hours left before the sun began to rise and he wasn't tired quite yet but for a human, it was understandably very late. even if he didn't quite get what he was expecting from the girl tonight, he was grateful for the invitation into her home and he was sure this wouldn't be the last time he would find his way into her bedroom. it was nice watching sookie in her safe space, getting comfortable as she lowered herself onto her back and hugging a pillow. with all the chaos he put her through tonight, it was nice to see her settle down and get cozy. eric took a seat at the end of her bed after she asked, he wouldn't say no to an invitation to spend more time with the girl if she was requesting it. "i don't mind staying a bit longer but if you do get too tired, i can see myself out. the sun will be coming up in a few hours anyways." he told her as he took a glance at the dark sky outside of her window and then back at her. he took a moment to admire her in her current state before speaking - there was something beautiful and innocent about the tired flutters of her eyes as she hugged her pillow close to her. a smirk curled up his face as he began to feel like he was reading her a bedtime story to fall asleep to.

"well -- i'm a very old vampire. i was a viking in my human life, my father was our king. once i was reborn as an immortal, i lived many different lives, traveled the world with the vampire who made me and changed as the world around us began to change too." he told her, he didn't care to talk about himself especially with humans so he wasn't quite sure where to start but this seemed like a decent way to start. "up until the 80s, i roamed the world and had my fun with my own progeny, pam. i got us into some trouble in france and we have just now moved to beacon hills to get out of that trouble, i guess." he confessed with a sigh, the thought of sylvie was a reminder to eric about how relationships with humans weren't the best idea and would probably end badly for him and bring more trouble, but he tried to brush off the thought as he met sookie's gaze again. there was something different about her compared to other humans, she was special. "i've lived a long time though, there's a lot to say. what is it that you'd like to know about me?"

the sense of relief and comfort settled into her bones when eric accepted her offer of staying. her lips visibly curved in a smile of satisfaction. there was a deep sated curiosity she needed satisfied and getting even the smallest bit of information was going to help her understand him. there was a certainty in her that there was more to eric then he would first let on. sookie was ready to discover it all, even if it meant she wasn't going to make it in the end.

her arms would tighten around her pillow when eric willingly told his story to her. while she had expected him to be extraordinary, she hadn't know he would be even more then that. her initial thoughts were confirmed, he indeed was a viking warrior and lived quite the spectacular life. one she could probably only dream of. " oh my, viking royalty. you are even more impressive then i imagined. " sookie drew out a dreamy sigh, imagining him back in the days with a sword in hand, a bare chest and a crown resting on his head. perhaps not quite how his reality was but the image in her head was an exciting one. " how did you get turned? " she didn't wish to imply and therefore left the question open for discussion. it was his story to tell if he felt the comfort to. " i can only imagine how difficult it must have been. " it was certainly more difficult then discovering the mere existence of the supernatural world.

it came as a surprise to sookie to be invited by one of the locals to a party at their place. back home she never was the girl who got an invitation because they all were freaked out by her presence. therefore sookie hadn't known how quickly she needed to accept the invitation. she even made an effort in presenting herself properly by wearing a skin tight dress, a layer of make-up that accented her best features and a blow out she never knew she needed. the loud music vibrated till her very core and brought a sense of euphoria she hadn't felt in quite some time. even in a situation like this sookie couldn't ditch her manners of serving. " do you care for a drink as well ?? i can get you one. "

although she claimed her home was a mess, it was fairly clean compared to other human homes he had been to. some people, especially college kids, lived in pigstys with clothes, empty food containers and liquor bottles on their counters. even as a hedonistic vampire who often made messes in his home especially with blood, he always preferred to maintain a clean space with the help of pam. "you have a beautiful place." he told her as he took a glance around. there was a southern charm to her place and pictures of family hanging on her walls. as she took his hand to guide him, his eyes scanned the walls and rooms he passed so he could learn more about her. the vampire licked his lips in anticipation as she led him to her bedroom, he was pleasantly surprised and excited with just how easy it was to charm his way into the girl's bed.

all of his surprise and excitement was gone in just a second once her next words left her mouth, he had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. he was starting to regret his decision of following her lead, maybe he should've drained her and had his way with her when he had the chance. eric's eyes moved to the closet she was pointing at and as he tried to hide his disappointment he nodded. "yeah - sure, i can do that. where do you want it?" he asked as he picked it up with ease. at least he was in her room, he didn't even expect to get an invitation into her home tonight so he tried to remain grateful nonetheless.

sookie felt a sense of pride when eric genuinely complimented her home. to southern standards it was the best type of compliment to receive. it kept her spirits high even when she mentally and physically was starting to crash due to everything she had been going through the last couple of hours. " thank you, i try my best with the funds i have. " due to only being a waitress, she couldn't afford a lot. still she tried her hardest to make it a home she could be proud of. eric probably had experienced a far better lifestyle then she could ever provide, still she tried not to think about it too much. instead she tried to be present and live in the moment. perhaps it would be the last time she would ever be in the presence of a man with such a beauty and pride.

the moment sookie revealed her true intentions of getting him into her bedroom was the moment sookie could see the regret flashing in his eyes. perhaps sookie truly was foolish and thought he was genuine with her and wanted to help out more then claim her as his own to do and toy with as he pleased. once more she tried to remain optimistic of the situation. " it should be over there. " she pointed at the other empty corner and watched him in awe of his strength. she had known he was powerful but seeing it with her own eyes proved her what she could not comprehend. even when she was impressed, she still couldn't help herself yawning. and once she started, it seemed she wasn't capable of stopping. " thank you. " she muttered, her eyes starting to flutter close every so often.

she would lower herself on her back, getting in a more comfortable position by placing her head upon her pillow and hugging another pillow between her arms. " hey, would you take a seat and tell me about you ?? " she asked her eyes looking clouded by the tiredness that was trying to take claim of her. " i do really want to get to know you. " she hoped he wouldn't be offended or take his leave. who knew when she would see him again. she doubted he truly was that interested in her.

eric wasn't quite sure if his words would sway the girl, it was much easier to get an invite inside someones home with compulsion and he was pleasantly surprised when she agreed to invite him in. "thank you, sookie. i would love to come in." a wicked grin curls up his lips as he takes her warm hand and follows her inside. unless the girl revoked his invitation in the future, he would be able to come inside and "protect" her anytime he'd like. he was filled with excitement and desire as he took a few steps into her home, glancing around to scan the home before meeting his gaze with her's once again and stepping closer to her, trying to fill the space between them.

her next words surprised him, this night was beginning to work much more in his favor than he initially expected. the twinkle in her eyes as she looked up at him was intoxicating and it took every ounce of control in his body not to have his way with her already, the desire he had for her in this moment was primal. in just a few moments he could finally have her completely if he played his cards correctly. he just got the invite into her home and did not want it revoked already so he would follow her lead for now. "hm .. you do?" he asked with a smirk. "then show me to your bedroom. i would love to know what you have in mind, i am all ears .. " the vampire told her, fangs peaking out from his lips as his cold fingers trailed up her warm skin. his eyes dropping to her lips - his mind was filled with ideas of his own.

sookie had yet to discover all the secrets and facts about the vampires. by inviting him in she had sealed her own faith. if only she had known that her home could have been her safe haven from him. if only she knew she could withdraw that invitation any time and get her safe haven back whenever she needed it. however, the way he seemed so eager and full with anticipation the moment she invited him in, was the moment she forgot all about the fears she might possibly have over inviting a vampire in her home. if she was to trust him, this would be the perfect opportunity to figure out he was true to his words. " sorry for the mess, i do pride myself on being quite an accomplished southern woman who keeps her house presentable. unfortunately i had not foreseen having any guest this evening. " while he home wasn't messy at all, certainly not compared to others. she still had a standard of pure cleanliness that hadn't been met this evening, which made her somewhat insecure.

his eagerness proceeded to increase when she mentioned her bedroom and needing his help over there. sookie even detected the glimmering reflection of his fang peeking out. while that picture should induce fear, it did the opposite. it excited her. somehow she was capable of seducing this man in a way she had never predicted to be able to. the moment his touch warmed her skin, she took claim of his hands and led him to her bedroom. it was quite a spacious room with a four poster bed and solid wooden closets. she drew him in and closed the door behind her. while she should have returned her attention to him, he attention was drawn to something else. she started to point at it before uttering. " i have been wanting to move that closet for a while now. are you capable of doing it for me ?? " she batted her lashed at him as a request.
