Community + Leadership. Apply Today!

Bridging Borders is an exciting hands-on project designed specifically for teenage girls in Pueblo County. Participating teens reconnect with the stories, knowledge and practices of women who helped to build our community. With interactive workshops taught by regional scholars and leaders, the project will nurture a sense of place and a sense of history that form the roots of strong self-identity. Up to 25 teenage girls will be selected for the project. There is no cost for the program.

Bridging Borders is a special program offered by El Pueblo History Museum, Pueblo City-County Library District, and Colorado State University-Pueblo. The project is sponsored with a grant from the American Association of University Women.

Here is a brief calendar of workshops. (Teens who participate in all of the workshops/programs are eligible for a drawing for a free iPad!)
