Quilters, I want you to share the quilt you made and are most of. Doesn't need to be your best or newest either. Just a quilt that stands out because you're proud of it.
I'll go first.
This is from 2015-2016, and it's the first time I made a quilt using a pattern for something larger than a baby/lap quilt. It was a gift for my SIL and made using old fat quarters my mom gave me.
I had a really difficult time comprehending the pattern. I have dyscalculia; look that up and then get back to me about making quilts. This was a beast and thr math was sooooo confusing. But! I was determined and kept going, possibly due to undiagnosed and untreated ADHD and hyperfocus.
The pattern has since vanished, and I really do not like these fabrics. My SIL, however, loves the quilt.
Nearly all the corners meet, all the quilting was done by hand, and the binding sparkles. Yes, I'm absolutely proud of this.
What quilt are you most proud of making? It can be for any reason! First time you machine or handquilted? Got all the corners to me? Worked with prints instead of solids? Share it. Let's make this a show-and-tell.
This is my quilt top that I love how it turned out❣️

So I’m starting another sweater. I love this sweater in the soft stretchy yarn I used with the 1st one. So I’m trying this yarn, Landscapes, it’s one of my favorites. #salenabacacrochetpatterns #croppedcablesweater #landscapesyarnskyline #lby #lbylandscapes (at Toppenish, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmLmUC2OkKf/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I made a #derpypoohbear , a little blanket, a cute outfit, and an extra hat. I made it for my Aunt @natishiawalton for her granddaughter that is having a precious little one. I was inspired by a picture that I could find no pattern for. So I sought to find patterns for each piece. I couldn’t find one for the blanket so I made my own. I’m going to publish the pattern for the blanket as a free pattern. I think this set is so cute❤️❤️ #brighteyestishcreations #crochetersofinstagram #aphid777pattern #youcrochetpattern #jeanineandreadesigns #poohbearset #honeycombblanket #hatsofinstagram #designlife #crocherslife #makerslife #handmade #furlshook #redheartyarns #familyisthebestgift https://www.instagram.com/p/CiUW9lEOVNE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Although my daughter is not indigenous to the Yakama area, at 14 years old she was stolen from us. She was lost for 2 years until hunters found her remains. The years she was missing were the worst…searching faces everywhere we went. It was a blessing to lay her to rest. #nomoremissingsisters #parentsofmurderedchildren #unsolvedmurders #nomoremissingchildren #nomorestolensisters #nomoremissingandmurderedindigenouswomen (at Toppenish, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdMpUmBrU8w/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
