Empty nest. Ms. Bob's left no forwarding address. And so it goes in nature. I hope her next brood fares better.

Looks like one for sure that's alive!
Lookie!!
We are both in position now for the unveiling!
Thank you Ms. Bob for the invitation to look in on your tree’s nursery. Excited to see what you’ve done!
Here's my point of view on Ms. Bob
Egg’s shells off! Blog gets handoff.
Now that Ms. BOB has some raw bait in her nest, she and I have agreed that it’s time for me to take over the blog fully. So I’m being promoted from Nest Photographer to official Nest Editor-n-All. This is getting real!
Getting big. Should be popping open any day now.
Please to come pick up your groceries from my tree.
I find repeating this one chirp just doesn't seem to be enough to get that blogger to back away. Sheesh.
My pair. I've only got a 7-day stretch left before the squawkers arrive.
Learn how to identify Northern Cardinal, its life history, cool facts, sounds and calls, and watch videos. The male Northern Cardinal is perhaps responsible for getting more people to open up a field guide than any other bird. They’re a perfect combination of familiarity, conspicuousness, and style: a shade of red you can’t take your eyes off. Even the brown females sport a sharp crest and warm red accents. Cardinals don’t migrate and they don’t molt into a dull plumage, so they’re still breathtaking in winter’s snowy backyards. In summer, their sweet whistles are one of the first sounds of the morning.
Here’s a smart page about my kind. My eggs may be a touch bluer than what you see here. Don’t be confused by that.
Yesterday I had just this one pretty little egg. Today I’m already onto my second one.
This is when that blogger startled me. It’s cool now. She just needed to know how close was too close. I chirped her. She backed right off.
