Learning Photography - Day 1

Today I’ve set up my Flickr account. This will be used to collect all my photos. I will shot daily photos and should be able to upload them daily as well. But if live gets in the way, I will upload them in such a way, that I have 365 photos by the end of the year.

This is the camera that I will be using in the first year: A Samsung ST72 digital camera. Nothing special, I already had it, so it costs me nothing.

Learning Photography - Day 0

I decided to start learning photography, and on top I decided to learn how to use Tumblr. Currently I know next to nothing about either, but this will hopefully change for the coming future.

For now, I only have a simple and cheap digital camera that I wanted to use for the first year. I might not be able to shot with all the functions a DSLR offers, but I can still learn about theory and apply it to my cheap equipment, while writing about that on a free platform like Tumblr.

After I’ve reached the limits of what I already have, I can still invest some money to buy a beginner DSLR and start a photography website.

On this Tumblr, I will track my progress and link to resources that helped me learning about photography. And, of course, I will share some photos that I’ve made during the day.
