Ok, here comes the opinion of a formerly deeply closeted lesbian so beware, but

I'm really glad they're doing what they're doing right now because what happened this morning officially makes Robbe the most realistic and relatable of all the Isaks to me. I've seen a lot of you guys complaining about the amount of make out scenes between Robbe and Noor earlier this season, but tbh they made so much sense for me then and make even more sense now. Because I remember being in high school and dating all those guys and not knowing exactly why I couldn't commit fully or didn't really want to have sex with them. Like I remember making out with them 80% of the time simply because it was the only physical contact I could stand without dissociating completely and it sometimes was better than talking as well because emotional talk with someone you don't have any deeper feelings for is kind of insufferable. That's why to me it makes perfect sense for Robbe to do the same at the beginning. He just didn't know where the problem was exactly so he just tried with the easiest stuff. And then Sander showed up and oh boi. He literally gave him the reason and made him face something Robbe wasn't even aware he's been struggling with.

And now the hot take but what he did this morning was really so real. It's all completely new to him, he's just beginning to grasp something this huge and suddenly he has to deal with his previous life as well. Because believe it or not, when you're closeted and trying to date other genders it does not erase the possibility of you liking the person. Quite the contrary. Like clearly Robbe cares deeply about Noor and actually likes her, which would make any good person stop in their tracks and think "well do I really want to hurt them". And I love that they did that in wtfock because I always had a problem with how the previous Isaks treated their Emmas nor could I relate to it because I actually liked most of my boyfriends and still am friends with quite a few of them, so would never do anything like that to them. Thus to me it's just way more realistic, relatable and actually moral what Robbe is going through and it really hits home.

And I'm just gonna add one more thing. Every Isak season made me feel things. They were all good in different parts and problematic in others (like pov thing here, that's problematic). But with this one I just feel like for the first time I actually see myself on the screen and it even made me talk to my sister about it for the first time because I just couldn't handle being confronted with it again. And literally for the first time I kind of thought to myself "well if they can and will make it, I can too" so big thanks and congrats to wtfock, you're doing great sweetie

Just some thoughts after today’s clip...

‪Sander made sure- he made sure his advances and interest weren’t just one-sided- he made sure Robbe was in a place where he could get kissed by a boy. He asked him “maybe i wont find anyone that loves me” for Robbe to confirm not only that he will in fact find someone, but he also implied that that someone was himself. Sander then took a leap and leaned it to kiss him, although those efforts were interrupted, and yet that was reciprocated. And then yesterday he told him “all the way or no way” and Robbe stopped for a second to really think about the statement... and he still stripped himself in front of Sander, he allowed such intimacy with Sander which told him that Robbe was not only comfortable with him, but also still willing to do reckless things with him. And then, they finally KISS.

Only for Robbe to back away the next morning...‬

yeah it hurts up close (and even far away) & sander went over board w 4 shots, especially with how close they were, so britt has a right to be upset about it

and what sander did was out of line, sure, but hey that doesn’t mean people need to get so pissy about it. hold him accountable but don’t be “oh im anti sander now!! lmao” like, what sander did wasn’t right but he’s not perfect, none of these characters are going to be, so people need to chill. i’m just genuinely tired of fans of this tv show going batshit crazy bc their precious ‘perfect’ white boy did something wrong as if he isn’t human. you can be upset at sander but don’t be mad as if he murdered someone
