Ben smiled and stepped inside, trying to stay as far from Ned as possible. He spotted a table by the window and sat down, unzipping his coat and letting it drop onto the seat beneath him. âWhat would you like?â
'Just a cappuccino. Thanks.' Ned said with a small smile as he too sat down, his long coat staying on in order to protect his newest friend

"Right, of course," he said, nibbling his lips.Â
Ned smiled slightly as they turned the corner, opening the door to the coffee shop and held the door open for him.Â

"Oh, no no, in America. I havenât tried your tea yet - Iâm sure itâs lovely," he said with a smile, blushing a little.
'Another day maybe.' Ned smiled and continued to walk, hands firmly behind his back.Â

Ry sighed at that and shook his head. âThey wonât, well, the ones who are still up in heaven anyway,â he answered. âThe ones who are living here on Earth wonât even bother because they donât want to go back.â
'Does them vouching for you mean that they return to heaven too then?' He asked, slightly confused by it all.Â
Lucy sat up a little, unsure how to react. âI donât know what you mean.â
'He did say it quite clearly.' Ned pointed out. 'You were the last person to speak to him, is that correct?'Â

"Oh yes, lovely," he slipped his hands into his pockets and began walking, shoulders hunched. "I have to say, Iâm very disappointed with the quality of tea here."
'In the Pie Hole or in America?' Ned asked, tilting his head slightly as he looked down at Ben.Â

Ben smiled at him and ducked through, doing his best to keep his distance. âThanks. Erm, I donât really know any coffee shops around here yet, where do you think we should go?â
'There's one around the corner that I like to go to.' He said with a smile, his hands folded behind his back as he left the Pie Hole for Olive to lock up.Â
"Oh?" she asked, quirking an eyebrow. "And what have you heard?"
'That you were the last person to talk to him before he died.' Emerson continued.Â

"Er yep," he said with a smile, doing up his coat. "Home or⊠do you maybe want to, I donât know, grab a coffee first?"
'Coffee sounds good.' He answered still smiling as he walked to the door, holding it open, his other hand behind his back so he couldn't touch Ben.Â
"If youâre going to keep repeating questions then I wonât bother answering them," she said with a long sigh, taking another sip of her tea. "I barely knew the man."
Emerson sighed. 'Well that'snot what we've heard.'Â

Ben was just finishing off at the till when he saw Ned getting ready to leave. He closed the tray and nibbled his lip, stepping up towards him. âNed?â He called, grabbing his own coat.
Ned looked up and smiled. 'Ready to go?'Â
"I told you, just from parties and things."
'To what extent?'Â
The Pie Hole || Closed RP
"Cool. Thank you. For the tour and things. Itâs nice here," he said with a shy smile, before shoving his hands into his pockets, nodding a little awkwardly, and wandering over to OIive.
Ned busied himself baking pies until he was all baked out and there were no more pies to be sold. He took off his apron and walked into the main part of the restaurant, putting his coat on.Â

Ry sighed and shook his head. âNot unless I can get another angel to sponser for my return,â he stated quietly, âwhich I know wonât happen. The other way is for me to die and my soul to go back to Heaven.â
'Right ok, well I hope you find an angel to help you.' He said with a small smile.

Ry ran a hand through his hair and bit his bottom lip as he thought of a way to explain at least some of his abilities. âWith an angelâs Grace, we can do quite a bit. I can teleport, and I can heal various wounds and injuries. One of my specialties is tracking.â
Ned nodded glad he had said nothing about sensing other abilities. 'Sounds...interesting. Well I'm sorry to hear that you have fallen. Is there anyway to get back?'
"Yes, here there is." He placed on a plate a marzipan sweet shaped like a bowtie, covered with red sugar paste and sugar sprinkles. "Sure you want this?"
'Looks lovely, yes please.' He replied smiling.Â
