How Would You Guys Write the Ending of Season 4?

Here is my take:

First off, I’d add a few more episodes to Season 4 since six just isn’t enough. I'd clarify the situation between Lila and Five, giving them proper closure and finally ending that situation-ship. The season would play out similarly but with a twist at the end. In the after-credit scene, I would show their lives (reincarnation maybe? I know they were born out of a marigold) that they are leading in the final timeline, and how things look now that Reginald has not adopted them.

They have no memory of each other or their lives as superheroes. But each of them would feel a deep, inexplicable connection to something lost.

Viktor might be drawn to a music store, feeling a strange, poignant ache.

Klaus would have a sense of déjà vu when narrowly escaping danger.

Allison could be inexplicably drawn to a photo album or a family event, sensing something missing.

Diego might experience vivid dreams about a family he can’t quite remember.

Ben could feel a subtle sense of familiarity with strangers he meets. Lila would feel a pang of longing when passing a playground,

while Luther might feel an odd connection to a gym or a place where he once felt strong and secure.

Five, always on the move, would pause as if searching for something—or someone—he can’t quite remember.

Their memories would be gone, but the bond they shared would refuse to fade, hinting that their paths might cross again someday.

Then, in the last scene, I’d focus on the marigold flowers but then... Reveal 8 pairs of shoes standing nearby, followed by Five saying, “Shit,” as it was his first line from Season 1—making it a perfect and ironic callback.

THE END. :D

It's bittersweet as they don't remember each other but hopeful, because why did Five say “shit”? Do they suddenly remember something? Many questions, and most importantly, the fandom would be satisfied.

Hi, this is my first post on this platform. I'm Amy and I post Fanfics on Ao3, I've been wanting to post more fanfics about Umbrella Academy recently, about Five and I need ideas! I want those fanfics to be Five-centric of course so If you have any ideas let me know. They can be post-season 3, post-apocalypse, angst, fluff, or anything really! There are only two rules: I don't do smut! I don't do Five x OC/ reader I write stories about Five and his family that are canon, that's it! Well, there are a couple of expectations, like if the plot is good enough to hold an OC I will consider it! As an author ( Can I even call myself that... lol?) I usually write longer fanfics so if you have a really good idea and would love to read good-written fanfic about your favorite Boy of Time, but there are just no fanfics like that then comment here! If I like the idea I will write it! I have a lot of motivation and I'm pretty positive I can finish anything as long as it has an interesting plot and story! Yo!! So I began writing this! I've finally got the motivation needed so I guess the first chapter will be out by today. Probably. I'm planning on making this a longer fic than people usually write in this fandom because I want to explain how Five got warmed up to the sparrows since they quite frankly hated them the first time they met. AGHH YOU'RE SO NICE!!! And yeah, writing is kind of my hobby, and it's not been that long since I've decided to post fanfics, I didn't actually think people would enjoy my writing but here we are! And I'm more than happy to hear your ideas! I love complex plots and plot twists that involve Five. Let me tell you a little story- the other day, I was bored and out of ideas. Then it hit me, I kept thinking about making him somehow be hit with power ( maybe one of the 43 powered people?) and possess cat-like ears, a tail, and cat tendencies, so when I tell you I can literally write any plot that is interesting, believe me, hahaha. I didn't actually write it, but trust me, I'm thinking of it, he just reminds me so much of a cat LOL and I've actually already seen one fanfic like this, so I got inspired as well.

Hi! I saw your request for ideas and figured I would give it a shot. How would you feel about Bonding Days with Five and his siblings? Klaus and Allison could take him shopping (retirement outfit, we miss you so), Luther could take them to a museum, (I love Luther and he screams Adorable Nerd to me, thats my defense) I think Diego would be hilarious at those places where you throw axes at targets. I'm not really sure for Ben and Vanya/Viktor. I suppose it depends on which season you would put them?

Hi! Honestly...? THATS SUCH A GOOD IDEA! And you know what? I will write it! Five never really got any type of retirement so I guess giving him some peace wouldn't hurt. I'm thinking of writing it post-season 3, but where they actually saved their timeline and are right where they began ( minus the apocalypse ofc). I will also make Five a little skeptical at first I think? There is no way the old man would agree to those things willingly. I will probably make Klaus get him to do it somehow! I have a fanfic idea, but I don't know if it will work. It's about Five.

The story begins with Five having a huge argument with his siblings after discovering a new apocalypse through his calculations. No one believes him, which leads to Viktor accidentally hurting him due to his unstable powers. Five leaves the fight with a serious injury.

The Sparrows then find him and help him survive. Five learns that they came from a timeline that also faced an apocalypse similar to his, and they used a stolen briefcase from the Commission to travel back in time. However, their actions changed things, and when they returned to the future, they ended up in the Umbrella Academy timeline, where the apocalypse followed them.

As Five helps the Sparrows navigate their new situation, they grow close over four years, during which Five's body is now 19 ( He is 64 now.) Eventually, they return to the Umbrella Academy timeline, and Five chooses to stay with the Sparrows since his own family hurt him. He discovers that only a few months have passed in the Umbrella Academy, but he decides to let it go and finally enjoys his life with the Sparrows. He gets to retire and go on vacation with people who actually show that they care, and he appreciates it.

One morning, while Five is casually spending time with Marcus, Fei, and the rest on the beach, a familiar face notices him (though he doesn’t see them). It’s Klaus, and as usual, no one believes him. However, Klaus manages to bring Lila to show that Five might still be alive but is somehow older. That’s when the story starts.

Bonus: Jayme is his best friend, and I’d love to see that friendship grow! LOL

Also, Fei has a daughter in this fic, so that means Five gets to be an uncle!

So, what do you all think? Is that a good enough plot for a fanfic, or is it too complex?
