- Casey said he was gonna do lunch at the docks with Azalea. He never showed up, and Azalea has ZERO sense of direction, she just follows Casey around like a lost puppy
- Surprise, surprise! Casey absolutely stands her up. Itās raining and *dark* and now sheās lost and crying because of course he would do this to her.
- Cue Edgar, his shitty car broke down and he isnāt a mechanic. He has no money to get it fixed and his boys are not out in this weather
- Azalea sees him broke down and decides heās much friendlier looking than the adults giving her creepy stares so she timidly approaches and offers to fix it for him, for free
- āGet lost, school kid, before I run you overā
- āGonna be hard to run me over with your transmission hose melted like butter. Wonāt start?ā
- She replaces his transmission hose at the expense of asking him for a ride home since he knows Bullworth well.
- āYour car is hanging on by a thread. You should really get it fixed.ā
- āWith what money, sweetheart?ā Heās pissed.
- āWell uh, my afternoons and weekends just became a lot clearer. I can fix it for free. I just like having my hands busy.ā
- Edgar tries to say he isnāt a charity case but he has no money to pay a mechanic and if the dork thinks she can fix it, why not?
From there on out heās at her house every weekend, learning how to fix his car and actually kind of tolerating her because sheās not .. a rich spoiled asshole. Very down to earth. He still hates all the other school kids but this one has his back, so he *doesnāt* hate her
