Iām sure this is a sore topic for many. After all, it sounds a little mean to ask, doesnāt it? āWhy do gay guys talk like that?ā Well, many of us have been wondering that same question since we came out of the closet. It seems to be, according to the 2014 documentary film āDo I Sound Gay?ā, even us gay men arenāt overly fond of the way many of us sound. Many more set out to change the way they talk, to appear more hetero-normative.
