yes yes yes yes yes this is our new PM and I voted for him and I feel so happy to hear him say this. omg. Trudeau said this in his victory speech and I’m so happy that he decided to specifically address this

There has been a lot of praise and criticism going around about electing the new Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.  I’ve heard a lot of negative comments coming from the opposition and I’ve also been criticized for supporting the Liberal Party myself in yesterday’s election. Normally I would vote with my gut and stay with the Green party and Miss May, who has little to no major support on a national standing). However, Canada needed a change and we’ll see if, as a majority democracy, we made the correct decision. These quotes however, are here to, at least partially, explain why I supported the Liberals.
