Just to begin this post, I have not bought anything yet for anyone for Christmas! In the past, I have been notorious for being one of those frantic last minute shoppers that hit up stores like two days before Christmas Eve! This year though is going to be different in that I plan on getting all my shopping done early this year. When I say early, I roughly mean around maybe the 15th or 16th of December, but hey, that is doing good for me! I really don't want to say I'm going to battle the crowds of shoppers on Black Friday, but in all honesty I know I will be. I like to shop in stores, but this year I do plan on doing a lot of online Christmas shopping. I will be going crazy on Cyber Monday and I hope my checking account doesn't get to drained before I make some good purchases! Being a poor college student I do look for sales and great deals and I'm sure whether I'm in a store or online I will make decent purchases that won't break me (hopefully). I've cut down my buying list this year because really I just can't afford to buy something for EVERYONE. One idea though I have for gifts is framing pictures for my family and giving them each one along with a jar of homemade jelly that I'm going to attempt to make. The gifts this year aren't going to expensive and elaborate, but rather sentimental and from the heart. I've not really asked for anything this Christmas because being a little kid at heart, I still love to be surprised on Christmas morning. After thanksgiving my boyfriend and I will be setting up a Christmas tree in his apartment and I couldn't be more excited! I love a Christmas tree, but a Christmas without presents under in is no fun. I hope by the time we put the tree up, I will have at least one wrapped present to put underneath it. Shopping, family, and great food is coming soon because I guess it really is the most wonderful time of the year!
