Então, vamos falar sobre a Britt antes de ela ser Britt? Como assim?? Calma, calma! Se você não sabia, Britt passou 5 anos trabalhando como uma artista independente antes de assinar com a Sparrow Records e lançar o Say It em 2007. O que importa é que, antes de Say It, Britt era Brittany Waddell, e Brittany Waddell lançou 2 CDs. O primeiro álbum da carreira da Britt, na verdade, não é o Say It, e sim o “Follow The Call“. Ele foi um CD com 9 faixas lançado em 2003 pela extinta MGS Music, quando Britt tinha 18 anos. O selo MGS Music foi criado pelos produtores Jimm Mosher e Alan Grossman, do estúdio Hit Music. Britt foi a primeira artista do selo! No ano seguinte, 2004, Britt lançou outro álbum pela mesma gravadora, intitulado “Brittany Waddell“. Nesses 2 primeiros álbuns, Britt ainda não tinha um estilo musical muito definido. Haviam músicas mais pop, mais rock, baladas e músicas de adoração. Mais tarde, depois desses dois lançamentos, Britt assinou com a Sparrow Records e lançou o nosso querido e amado “Say It” em maio de 2007. So… We’re going to talk about Britt before she was Britt. WHAT? Hey, calm down! If you didn’t know, Britt worked 5 years as an independent artist before she signed with Sparrow Records and released Say It in 2007. What matters is that before Say It, Britt was Brittany Waddell, and Brittany Waddell released 2 CDs. The first album ever of Birtt isn’t Say It but “Follow the Call.” It was a 9-track CD released in 2003 by the extinct label MGS Music, when Britt was 18. The label MGS Music was created by Jimm Mosher and Alan Grossman, producers from Hit Music Studios. Britt was the first artist of the label! In the next year, 2004, she released another album on the same label (it was an EP actually), called “Brittany Waddell“. On these two albums, Britt hadn’t a very defined musical genre yet. There were pop songs, rock, ballads and worship songs. She signed with Sparrow Records later and released our dear “Say It” in May of 2007.
