Alright clowns I’m going on a hiatus because I kind of hate social media. Sorry for those of you that actually enjoyed my marvel ramblings, it’s time for me to depart. 👊😔 Bye clowns.

“I love Steve as Captain America”, “I love Sam as Captain America”, and “I love Peggy as Captain Carter” are all ideas that can co-exist. In fact, they’re ideas that SHOULD co-exist because all three characters are awesome.
I also love Bucky as Captain America in the comics, and I want all four to coexist because cross-time-cross-universe shenanigans with a Captain Corps would be...
fuck, I’m on the hook to write this fanfic now, aren’t I.
I should draw the four of them together someday
i can’t believe he’s gone
Kanye Rest in peace
I believe you mean rest in pieces.

Just realized that I accidentally instinctively tagged this as daredevil at first

When Matt said “she is important to me” in relation to Karen I felt that.
You’re both very good-looking. (x)
good morning to people who push their friends away so that they don’t get hurt because of them, people who grew up in small towns in Vermont where the most exotic food available is french fries, lawyers whose moms wanted them to become butchers, harbingers of death and destruction who are never truly too far gone, guys with hipster beards, and women who look like Elle Woods after she graduated but have immense pegging energy
Say what you will about the Defenders, but the collapse of Midland Circle and its immediate aftermath is deeply emotionally evocative. The collapse of the building itself is reminiscent of 9/11 (building collapse in New York? Hard not to be) and there is the aching sense of knowing everyone on-site has that Matt is still inside. Pair that up with the gorgeous cinematography of Elektra and Matt embracing as the dust and rubble come down on them and the subsequent scene of the empty precinct doorway, where Karen and Foggy are waiting for him to appear, hoping, dreading, praying, and it’s powerful enough to bring to tears to my eyes even though I’m watching it for the umpteenth time.
The score too, captures the tragedy of the moment perfectly. Hats off to John Paesano for pulling off a great score in a show with so many competing characters with distinct energies (and themes of their own made by other composers).
Knowing that Matt is still alive doesn’t make this scene hurt any less
Knowing that he went in to essentially commit suicide makes it heartbreaking
I know right? The whole situation is just so devastating and I still haven’t fully recovered
when i said i wanted to rewatch daredevil just to feel something i forgot that included feeling just so much pain

no I am not open to debating this
alternatively: Karen has a functional number of brain cells but she doesn’t use them
[image ID: a triangle alignment chart with pictures of Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, and Karen Page from the Netflix Daredevil series in each of the corners. Foggy’s picture is at the top, labeled “has a functional number of brain cells.” Karen’s picture is at the bottom right, labeled “seems like they have a functional number of brain cells, doesn’t.” Matt’s picture is on the bottom left, labeled “really should have a functional number of brain cells, but doesn’t.” End. me rewatching the daredevil series be like: why am I attracted to literally everyone on this show
thinking about how Stick taught Matt that he could only be strong if he was alone and he was ten and believed it. thinking about how Matt internalized it so hard that he probably didn't have many friends in middle school and high school and undergrad. thinking about how he showed up at law school and Foggy wouldn't take no for an answer to the question that was Matt's friendship. thinking about how Matt saw Foggy as an exception to the rules he still tried to follow because it was all he really knew. thinking about how Karen became an exception on accident and Matt didn't know what to do except love her. thinking about how Matt comes to realize that strength is in relationships because relationships give motivation and reason to keep going and something to hold on to when things are falling apart. thinking about how Matt loves with his whole heart and can't stop even when he tries so he finally learns to stop trying. thinking about how even when Matt thought he was alone and tried to be alone there were people who refused to let go, who held on tighter every time he tried to shake them lose.
Daredevil + The Guide to Troubled Birds [½] –> Part 2 I saw one of the birds and matched it to one of the characters and then decided to edit it, and then suddenly I’d made 20 of them. And I had too much fun making them tbqh. All are (mostly) for one or two people but the last one is Karedevil because I saw it and it made me cackle lmao. Plz reblog these took me hours, give me validation schfcsdhf. Link to part 2 above. Also, should I do some of these for the other hero shows like Jessica Jones and Punisher? Tbh one word and I’ll do it.
