Most places I reside at on my homeplane end up being raided, which is not ideal.

As for other planes, I find it hard to understand the housing situation without spending a great amount of time on doing so, which is difficult to achieve without a resting place.

Or I could recommend possible housing in the plane of Alara. For that one, I need to know. What kind of dangers are you comfortable with? You prefer angels or demons? You prefer a lush forest, an extreme landscape of fire, or a land devoid of life?

I would prefer the second option if possible. I have a preference for angels in theory and demons in practice. I suppose out of those three the devoid one seems most appealing.

Your preferred option would correspond to the Shard of Grixis, from the plane of Alara. Its main inhabitants are various strains of undead, ruled over by liches, necromancer and demons.

The deal that my friends offer to their future colonizers is that they sell off any form of precious mineral, especially if they are unique to their planes . In your case, two chunks of xexites should be enough to permanently pay the house, and make it yours.
