Hello, I'm Allister and I am gender non-conforming. I have recently started transitioning from feminine to masculine by the use of testoster
Hi,
I have recently come out on social media as trans. I’m trying to get too surgery but as most of tumblr knows, it’s not cheap. If you can’t donate, it’s okay! Just sharing my post helps. Thank you so much.
Trans people in Pennsylvania !!
If you are trans in PA, what are some good resources?? Doctors you’ve seen? Therapists? Anything! Just trying to see what options there are on the area.
debating on a name change. It’s conflicting bc having the same name for so long makes you feel like you can’t change it but what if it doesn’t fit. Anyone seeing this, pls comment what name you think would fit me. - gender neutral or masculine pls. Thank you.
Apple: Literally design their phones to become an expensive toxic brick within a few years
Gas Companies: Actively work to prevent anything being done to develop, promote or in any way make green energy sources widely known of available or affordable to anyone because slowly murdering the planet makes them millions of dollars
Big Companies: Literally dump toxic crap where it will cause serious harm to the earth and the species on it
Governments: Clearly what we need to do to save the earth is make people pay money to use carrier bags so they can actually carry their shopping home
AND BAN DRINKING STRAWS

First let me address how inaccurate that statement about apple’s devices is.
You can visit their website https://www.apple.com/environment/ but let me sum it up for you.
Apple spends copious amounts of time and energy to make sure that their entire company takes only from the earth what is absolutely necessary, far more than most companies. All of their faculties in the world run on 100% renewable energy. They test all of their products for hazardous materials which includes carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, endocrine disruption and more. They’ve removed PVC from all their power cords, cables, and headphones. Despite how extraordinarily complex it is to recover viable resources from their old products, they’ve hired top of their field engineers to create robots that can get more materials from recycled devices than ever before. Also, to add value to that they offer competitive and reasonable trade in values for their products to ensure that they can recycle them properly. Their newest MacBook Air is now made with 100% recycled aluminum. Their packaging and paper usage is now 100% recycled or responsibly sourced. (They protect 36,000 acres of forest in the United States and 750,000 acres in China).
Companies aren’t always held responsible but if you don’t actually know the facts of a company, don’t make a statement about them considering I’m sure over half of the people who reblogged this post, did it from their iPhone. I do agree that there are many companies that could be doing more. Try doing research on which ones to bring to peoples attention. Point fingers where it’s needed and give credit where it’s due.
Straws are just a way that people, who have no control over large companies, can do their part to cut down on waste. It takes everyone. It’s about everyday, consciously making decisions to ask more of yourself and ask less of the planet.
