What's your art process?
Depends on the piece.
I start with a hand drawn sketch and then scan and upload to my software. I art-haux between Procreate, Adobe and Krita. After coloring the first base, I stipple with Medibang, using round and square pixels. Then I do detailed coloring with textures. A second stipple layer sometimes sits on top of the colors for a more 3D effect.
Sometimes I'll process the art further with linocut, xerox or parchment for grain. Lastly I save the full piece and then overlay it with a hyper saturated colored version at 40%. This lets the textures peek in but keeps the tones from looking muddy.
Oh and I usually pop an edible before starting. Most important part.

ART ROULETTE PART TWO
To celebrate the upcoming Announcement for Forward but Never Forget/XOXO (shh, still under wraps with @lullabyes22-blog 👀), I’m re-opening The Art Roulette!
How it works:
I’ll be real with you. I’m terrible at regular commissions.
I can’t follow instructions to save my life. If you ask for “A,” I’ll deliver “Q” or some dramatic graffiti tag that doesn’t look like either. It’s stressful for me, disappointing for you, and leaves me staring at art I don’t even like enough to charge for.
But I do love creating strange, bold, unexpected art pieces that feel alive. So instead of rigid commissions, I’ve made a gamble for both of us:
I’ll post a base artwork with a character and a quick note on how elaborate the design is.
I’ll list the price (anywhere from $100 to $220).
If you want in, you just comment: “CaitVi for Art Roulette!” or “TimeBomb for Art Roulette!”
I’ll run the names through a randomizer, and whoever’s picked wins the round.
If you win:
Contact me on my Tumblr or Ko-Fi within the week.
Once payment is made, I’ll deliver a full-color piece within five days.
The result will almost certainly surprise you. Maybe it’ll be strange. Maybe it’ll be fun. Maybe both. That’s the gamble, and the joy.
Important:
No refunds. If the roulette wheel spins out something you didn’t expect, you’ll have to let it go.
You’ll still get full rights to share, print, gift, or display the artwork however you like. Just don’t resell it or use it for hateful/derogatory purposes.
I reserve the right to reuse the piece in my own projects later.
Why now?
Because I’m officially collaborating with Lullabyes on @lullabyes22-blog to build momentum for a project that’s been XOXO up to now… but won’t stay that way forever.
The roulette is part of that countdown—a celebration, a teaser, and a way to own a piece of the chaos before it evolves into what comes next.
All proceeds go directly into my creative work. Every spin of the wheel keeps me making art and gets us closer to the big reveal.
So, want to gamble on a piece of art tied to the chaos of XOXO?
Check out the offers, then leave a comment below:
Let’s spin.
