Brondon Palmer - Artist

At the age of 37, I finally decided to pursue my passion. I left my career in television advertising sales and went back to school to study fine arts. I started by taking foundations courses at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida and after receiving my AA, transferred to The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where I received my BFA. My art is a celebration of Nature, and the use of natural materials to communicate my experience.

It was fun to attend a week long figure drawing class @the_atelier_mpls (the atelier of Richard Lack). I had heard of the Sight-Size method, but was never taught it in a formal setting. I learned a lot and found that this method makes measuring a LOT easier! This drawing took 12 hours ( 3 hours a day x 4 days). I know... In the shop of Mack Dryden for the past two weeks making frames for my landscapes! What an incredibly gracious man! Thank you, @drydenmack I couldn’t have done it without you!
