October was all about getting LUCKY! And we didn't even have to stay up all night to do it. Back in bloom

It's been a while between blogs, which I will put down to acclimatizing to a new city. Last week I did my first big floral event as a freelance florist, with B Floral at the Union Square ballroom. It was endless hours of cleaning literally tens of thousands of flowers (24,000 in fact) and then a full day of putting them into leaking water vials in a freezing room on a literally freezing day. So. Much. Fun.

I imagine not all jobs finish with a signature cocktail, so I was sure to enjoy a few.....

But just like Eloise, I spent Friday running wild behind the scenes of one of the world's most famous luxury hotels, setting up a classic white wedding in one of their beautiful reception rooms.

Brooklyn Wedding in Bloom

This has to be my favourite wedding so far. It was on the edge of Brooklyn, over looking the Statue of Liberty with really a beautiful floral design of stylish white blooms and lots of wild greens in mixed vessels. Really lovely, effortless style.
