it bothers me so much when people use main fandom tags for 18+ artwork and/or don't tag it properly. like if youre intentionally misspelling the 18+ related tags then my blocked/filtered tags are not gonna properly filter it 💔!!! and if youre ALSO using any main tags for it then youre probably gonna be exposing that to people who aren't comfortable with it!!! and minors!!! and since you didn't tag it properly it won't get filtered/blocked for those people!!
and like. idc if you like that stuff or not, thats none of my business, but pretty please tag it properly & keep it to the proper spaces 💔 i don't know if there's like censorship problems or whatever with certain tags or not, but in that case please don't use the main fandom tags for it 💔

Here's a very messy sketch that ended up getting a little out of control. I just wanted to play with how specifically these idiots got damaged so I wasn't really thinking about composition or clarity when I started.
Shout out to @broomk for the bunting idea, that's such a clever way to imply the mixed up colours of the original costumes for this scene with a little less of the gory implications of them being physically mashed together. Plus imaging them desperately trying to untangle themselves is very funny to me.
Anyway here's the injury list for anyone interested.
Electra:
• I read a fic based on the headcanon that their monitor is there for a reason and that Electra is trying to hide the fact that they have the electric engine equivalent of a heart condition from the public, I'm stealing that. No they don't need help, they are supposed to be the future, they are supposed to be perfect, the fact that you can hear their fans whirring to keep them from over-heating even over the sound everything else is no cause for alarm. No their engine did not briefly cut out you're imagining things. But maybe if you could fetch Wrench please and thank you that would be great.
• Synthetic skin might be aesthetically pleasing but it's probably not as durable as wood or metal, that stuff sloughing right off at the smallest of incisions.
Red Caboose:
• You can't quite see it here but it's middle section and legs are just absolutely fucked, it's not quite "3 heads" levels of ripped in half yet but a stiff breeze would probably detach it's legs from it's torso. It's a robot it can be put back together, it'll be fine.
• It's chest box is split in half (again as a reference to "3 heads") which is probably not all that big of a deal in and of itself, but it's got it's radio in there and the little generator that powers it which is where the real problems lie. The pyrotechnics for some versions of this scene have sparks burst from Caboose's back after it falls down and its this generator that I headcanon as having exploded to cause that. Its not like it powers it's whole body like a loco's engine would, it can get by without it, but that's gotta be uncomfortable.
Greaseball:
• Everyone's ears are ringing after the crash but Greaseball's probably never stop. He's the only one not wearing some form of ear protection and thus the one to come away with the most long term damage. Let's hear it for tinnitus.
• He's punctured his tank and is just leaking oil absolutely everywhere. I imagine it probably causes the same symptoms as blood loss in humans does so dizziness, nausea, chest pain, and confusion, coupled with his dyslexia it is not helping him spell his apology any better. For a diesel this is probably on par with a steamer's engine going cold so that's going to need to be dealt with quickly or it's going to start causing some long term damage, engines aren't supposed to run on empty or it can strain them.

Joy and whimsy hi I want to show people my Starlight Express oc I've been working on :] !!! She's technically one of my like 3 but they're the only one I've got art made of rn so 😭
ANYWAYSSSS THIS IS GIGGLES :DD
They're a silly I based around a train ride at an amusement park i loved going to as a kiddo :] A little like expiation i came up up with for their existence will be under her Design refs n stuff !!
I didn't try to 1 to 1 match how I designed her to how the trains in starlight express look and that's because she's technically a kids train ride and not. An actual train train !! Her appearance it's meant to share some traits with a steam train but technically speaking they'd be closer to electric than anything else!!
The "lore" for her is she lived at a park with her friends and then they got shut down one day and like "left to rott"!! Eventually the park was looked at again and Giggles was the only one deemed in good enough condition to be used again :D she is still looking a bit rough tho !
Also funfact she's really short compared to the actual trains n stuff

Basically in the actual world Control had this like themepark playset he'd play with outside and one day he jsut forogt about it in the corner of the backyard!! Which yk happens kids are gonna sometimes completely forget about toys outside. Well his parents found it one day after nature had gotten to it and the only piece they found worth keeping was the train that Giggles is supposed to be! The rest got like thrown out lol. Control jsut came up with the park shutting down as a "funner" explanation for when he's playing
That's it for nowwww but I def will have nroe to post about them and my other 2 ocs soon once i draw them :D for now have sketch book doodles of Giggles' belt and the lil fake Gator friend they have named Crunch :]] which is a nod to the ride I based their design on called Crunch's Caboose
