RP STARTER! :D the fall harvest was right around the corner, siblings and clergy members were buzzing like bees in a hive trying to set it up, after all, fall is the most unholy time of the year..

antonio was busy making sure that the siblings of sin were on their best behavior while setting up the decor..

Rot stumbles over, fumbling on his feet to muzzle Antonio’s shoulder

Rots sitting on the bed, all cleaned up and lazily wagging his tail back and forth while messing with his hair.

There was currently a thunderstorm that could be heard outside of the ministry. As Antonio continued whatever he was doing a ghoul ran by on all fours, a smell of rot followed the ghoul. 

The ghoul ran under the nearest table, it was trembling and hissing at Antonio, jumping every time there was thunder.

The ghoul was 5’8, shaggy black hair, very baggy clothes and half a tail. It continued to hiss, though its body language was timid and scared.

Some of the traits the ghoul had matched the description of a ghoul that had been locked in a cell on accident in the ministry dungeon for a couple years and said ghoul had been released and gone missing inside the ministry earlier in the year.

antonio fumbled a few steps back, in disbelief of the ghoulish figure in front of him…he cautiously stepped closer gently cooing at them..

”hey…hey sweet pea,,hi..”

antonio kneeled, extending his hand

The ghoul was trying to whip his tail around to seem scary, which wasn’t exactly working since he only had half of a tail. He was also still hissing.

antonio sighs, he feels terrible for the poor ghoul, sometimes he hated being so empathetic—

“hey buddy..cmere, cmere.. i uh—i don’t have much..hm—“

antonio digs around before finding a piece of andes chocolate

“you want some chocolate sweetpea?”

He stared at Antonio slight confused for a moment before very carefully talking the chocolate, making sure his nails didn’t hurt Antonio. He messed with the wrapper for a minute before figuring it out. He looked down at the chocolate before looking back up at Antonio like he was confirming he could eat it. (PUPPY DOG EYES)

“that’s all for you…uh..buddy? yeah—that’s all yours. i have more stuff in my room..”

Rots voice sounded strained and hoarse, he stared again (he’s got goat pupils so hes kinda silly lookin) before he went back to eating the chocolate.

Rot looked confused as he tried to piece words together, he hadn’t spoken in a while and generally tried to stay away from people and ghouls alike.

“do you want to come to my room? i’ll run you a bath and get you some berries, how does that sound? nod or shake your head alright rot?”

“i’ll walk as slow and gently as i can okay? i don’t want to hurt you rot…”

Rot slightly yelped as he was picked up, holding onto Antonio for dear life but not enough to hurt at all

Rot was wagging the half of his tail he had against Antonio as he slightly nudged Antonio’s shoulder with his head. He liked all kinds of physical touch and it’d been year since an interaction that didn’t get him hurt or scared occurred

antonio gently scratches rots ears and they reach his bedroom. he sets rot down in his bed and starts to run a bath..

when rots set down he immediately gets off the bed and plops down on the floor

Rot startles at the sensation of water touching him. Holding onto Antonio’s shoulders and trying to get out, but it’s to slippery for him to move

antonio gently scoops some into his hand and shows it to rot

Rot whines, pouting, but lets himself relax into the water. He was still staring up at Antonio with whatever the goat version of puppy dog eyes are

he gently pours small amounts of water onto the ghouls head.. before rubbing it gently

He scrunches his face up when the water land on his head, he gives a very unserious judgemental look to Antonio before closing his eyes again

Rot let out a VERY dramatic sigh

Rot was making random excited noises while looking at the dog

the dog walks in and sits next to the tub

He stops and stares at the dog for a moment, he looks like he’s calculating something in his head before he looks at Antonio and licks the dog

Some of the traits the ghoul had matched the description of a ghoul that had been locked in a cell on accident in the ministry dungeon for a couple years and said ghoul had been released and gone missing inside the ministry earlier in the year.

antonio fumbled a few steps back, in disbelief of the ghoulish figure in front of him…he cautiously stepped closer gently cooing at them..

”hey…hey sweet pea,,hi..”

antonio kneeled, extending his hand

The ghoul was trying to whip his tail around to seem scary, which wasn’t exactly working since he only had half of a tail. He was also still hissing.

antonio sighs, he feels terrible for the poor ghoul, sometimes he hated being so empathetic—

“hey buddy..cmere, cmere.. i uh—i don’t have much..hm—“

antonio digs around before finding a piece of andes chocolate

“you want some chocolate sweetpea?”

He stared at Antonio slight confused for a moment before very carefully talking the chocolate, making sure his nails didn’t hurt Antonio. He messed with the wrapper for a minute before figuring it out. He looked down at the chocolate before looking back up at Antonio like he was confirming he could eat it. (PUPPY DOG EYES)

antonio softly hums and nods

“that’s all for you…uh..buddy? yeah—that’s all yours. i have more stuff in my room..”

He took an experimental bite before looking back up

“‘M…R-Rot…”

Rots voice sounded strained and hoarse, he stared again (he’s got goat pupils so hes kinda silly lookin) before he went back to eating the chocolate.

antonio looks at the ghoul, sweet satan the poor thing is in rough shape..

Rot looked confused as he tried to piece words together, he hadn’t spoken in a while and generally tried to stay away from people and ghouls alike.

antonio gets onto rots level

“do you want to come to my room? i’ll run you a bath and get you some berries, how does that sound? nod or shake your head alright rot?”

Rot nodded

“Bad…on……uhm…le-gs-“

antonio sighs…before gently picking rot up

“i’ll walk as slow and gently as i can okay? i don’t want to hurt you rot…”

Rot slightly yelped as he was picked up, holding onto Antonio for dear life but not enough to hurt at all

“trust me, you haven’t had to wash a newfoundland who rolled in a bunch of mud and who knows what else..you don’t smell too bad rot.”

Rot looked at Antonio, slowly blinking

“lies…stinky..been..a…tw-two ye-ar…’m thinks..”

antonio sighs defeated

“not for much longer rot…not for much longer..”

Rot was wagging the half of his tail he had against Antonio as he slightly nudged Antonio’s shoulder with his head. He liked all kinds of physical touch and it’d been year since an interaction that didn’t get him hurt or scared occurred

antonio gently scratches rots ears and they reach his bedroom. he sets rot down in his bed and starts to run a bath..

Rot does that thing dogs do when you scratch them, he kicks one of his feet repeatedly while Antionio scratches his ears.

when rots set down he immediately gets off the bed and plops down on the floor

antonio comes out and scoops rot up agian before putting him in the tub

“is the water temp good-?”

Rot startles at the sensation of water touching him. Holding onto Antonio’s shoulders and trying to get out, but it’s to slippery for him to move

“noo..noo—your okay! your okay, just water! see!”

antonio gently scoops some into his hand and shows it to rot

“Mhn..”

Rot whines, pouting, but lets himself relax into the water. He was still staring up at Antonio with whatever the goat version of puppy dog eyes are

“all good? you want some bubbles-?”

he gently pours small amounts of water onto the ghouls head.. before rubbing it gently

“Bu…bubbles..?”

He scrunches his face up when the water land on his head, he gives a very unserious judgemental look to Antonio before closing his eyes again

“it’s just soap…-uh..listen—your hair is locing up—i’m gonna have to demat it—“

“A…Again…”

Rot let out a VERY dramatic sigh

“gen-gentle…pl-ease..”

“i’m gonna try reaaaalllll hard…i don’t wanna cut it off..-“

“Can I…I….”

he forgot the word

“nap…pings…whi-while you..do that?”

“yeah! of course…it’ll take a while, and i might move you so you don’t get all pruny if that’s okay-?”

(if I remember correctly Antonio has a service dog, out of curiosity, is the dog nearby?) (Rot won’t do anything to it btw)

“Troopie! stay boy-no—no i don’t want you getting wet—washing one creature is enough-“

At first Rot hisses at the dog but after hearing how Antonio talked to the dog he stopped and stared at it before doing grabby hands.

“buh!”

Rot was making random excited noises while looking at the dog

“oh.—pfft, troopie, come, and be gentle..”

the dog walks in and sits next to the tub

Rot gently pets the dog, his tail wagging all over the place

“Mhn!”

He stops and stares at the dog for a moment, he looks like he’s calculating something in his head before he looks at Antonio and licks the dog

(Rot’s intrusive thoughts won, dogs not that different than ghoul, right?)

antonio laughs as he gently scrubs the ghoul

“Good job! Good job!”

Rot repeats happily as his tail slightly splashes in the water while he happily pets the dog more

troopie lets out a happy bark and nuzzles rot

“gah—well—i guess troopie likes you—“

Rot let’s out a happy squeal when Troopie barks

he continues petting as he looks around the bathroom, he points to a vest that says ‘service dog’ (I assume Troopie would have a vest, if not ignore this part lol)

“wha’s that..?”

“oh! well, you see, i have a medical condition and troopie here helps me with it! the vest tells people not to pet him because he’s working, and he had to remain very focused just in case!”

Rot guesses while staring at Antonio

“..the…grand…grand mal…or..clonic…?”

Rot tilts his head

“I..ve…seen you around…the…min-estry…smelt…it before…can smell…blood…blood sugar too..’s stinky…”

i tease him as i successfully brush out a mat

“I-! Not bad stinky-!”

“mh…strong..strong stinky…very smell…”

“no it’s okay-! i’m just teasing you—“

he quickly gets out another mat

Rot’s tongue sticks out as he’s in deep thought

“Rot…service..ghoul..?”

“hm—? what do you mean rot-? you wanna be a service ghoul-..hm..that’s not an terrible idea..-you can smell my blood changes..-“

this has antonio thinking now..

“Rot help..? Rot help!”

He was happily wagging his tail again attempting to nuzzle Antonio

antonio smiles…he can’t say no-it’d give tye ghoul a job that’d be beneficial for both of them..

“hmmm..okay,”

after a moment of looking around he looks back to Antonio

Rot looks very confused for a moment
