I am posting after sooo long!!! I recently started a full time job and so now my entire day is spent in office and the rest of the time sleeping :P It has become very difficult to find time to draw….but I am gonna make some changes and make sure this does not become a habit. #inktober and #facetober were such fun challenges! Ok I know this drawing is like super basic but like seriously how cool is this plant! Like I made that? I am on fire 😝 I don’t think I have ever made art this quickly…like I think I completed her in under 5 hrs which is a big deal for an amature and indecisive person like me. The first time I heard about a “bulak” (septum ring) was from my grandmother. She told me “ you know! my great grandmother had a bulak so big that she had to pick it up every time she would take a bite of her food. When she got married people from all over the village came to see her. I wanted to draw a “girl in the bathtub” for a very long time now. Beautiful girls, flowers, bathtubs :P( mostly bec we don’t use them in India) and water are all the things that fascinate me! However I wanted to do justice to the piece and so I waited patiently for the right moment. I didn’t wanna rush her so I equipped my self with more skills and finesse and finally decided 2 days ago that I am ready to draw her….only to end up drawing her on a wrong canvas…a canvas which cannot be fully displayed on Instagram. So here she is, my beautiful “girl in the bathtub” displayed with hideous white bars at her side.
