THE CYCLE OF STARTING OVER — A PSYCHOLOGICAL DEATH LOOP MASQUERADING AS “MANIFESTING”
AKA an autopsy of your boredom, your habits, and your chemically addicted brain pretending it’s spiritual
i am EXTREMELY sick at the moment but a mans gotta preach the truth to the masses — which is you, my lovely reader.
this is not about “oh you didn’t persist long enough.”
this is not about “you lacked belief.”
this isn’t even about “you wavered” or any of that regurgitated spiritual garbage they’ve all been feeding you like you’re a helpless baby bird with its mouth open for scraps.
this is about your brain.
and your absolute unwillingness to sit in silence with your goddamn self without needing a shiny new method to rub on your forehead like a placebo sticker.
this is about how your entire identity is shaped by the pursuit of the desire, not the having of it.
this is about how you are literally, biologically, chemically addicted to the sensation of almost getting what you want.
this is about how you start over and over and over because it got quiet. because it got still. because it started to feel boring. and your anxious little brain said “uh oh… no novelty? this must be failure.”
and you missed it because it wasn’t loud enough.
I. THE DESIRE-LOOP TRAP: WELCOME TO YOUR DOPAMINE PRISON, BITCH!
you don’t wanna manifest.
you wanna want to manifest.
and there’s a fucking difference.
your biology has tricked you.
see, when you want something, when you chase it, when you visualize it and script it and say “omg it’s mine,” you are stimulating dopamine, the neurotransmitter of pursuit. not reward. pursuit. wanting. fantasizing. stretching out your hand for the cookie but not biting into it.
dopamine is not happiness.
and you keep scratching that itch over and over by switching methods, restarting your process, “resetting your self-concept,” because it keeps the fire alive. because it makes you feel like you’re doing something. like you’re making progress. but progress isn’t movement. it’s change. and you’re just running in circles.
II. “BUT I’M LIVING IN THE END, WHY DOESN’T IT FEEL SPECIAL?”
you think that living in the end is supposed to feel like the finale of a broadway musical with glitter raining from the ceiling and a dopamine climax.
you think it’s supposed to feel orgasmic. euphoric. explosive.
because you already have it.
what you call “boring” is not lack. it’s normalcy.
and what is normalcy? it is the literal goal of every single manifestation. you wanted the thing so you could go back to your life. you didn’t want the thing so you could collapse in ecstasy every morning on your kitchen floor screaming “OH MY GOD I HAVE MY DESIRE!!!”
imagine doing that over your bathroom sink every morning.
imagine sobbing with joy every time you see your microwave because you once scripted for a kitchen in your dream apartment.
imagine shaking with disbelief every time your boyfriend texts you “on my way.”
do you see how insane that sounds?
do you understand now that boredom is the actual indicator of stability?
III. BIOLOGICAL ADDICTION TO MANIFESTATION AS A PROCESS, NOT A RESULT
your brain is not your enemy, but it is your blueprint.
and if we’re gonna get biological—yeah, bitch, we’re going there—we need to understand homeostasis.
your brain’s job is not to make you happy.
your brain’s job is to keep you familiar.
if your nervous system has associated lack with safety, craving with purpose, chasing with excitement, then having your desire will feel like… nothing.
it will feel like stillness. silence. neutrality. and you’ll interpret that stillness as “wrong.”
because your body has built a biochemical dependency on being in the in-between.
you are a puppet strung up on cortisol and dopamine.
you love the scripting and the daydreaming and the obsessive breakdowns on tumblr more than you love the actual having—and some of you FLAUNT this.
and this is where psychology fucks you sideways.
because now your brain is rewarding you for chasing and punishing you for succeeding.
so you restart. you reset. you rebrand. “new self concept,” you say. “new methods.” “void only this time.” “affirming only.” “mental diet.” “sats challenge.”
no baby, you’re not new. you’re bored.
IV. QUANTUM EXPLANATION: THE OBSERVER’S BURDEN
in quantum mechanics, the observer literally affects the outcome. observation collapses the wave of probability into a specific result.
every time you “check” if it’s working
every time you “observe” whether you’re in the end or not
every time you reactivate the process by wanting to feel it more
you’re collapsing the probability into the wrong timeline.
you’re telling reality “i don’t trust that it’s mine yet so let me re-observe it.” and so, it reopens and it reinserts you into the loop.
you just got impatient and walked away right as the door was unlocking because the handle wasn’t loud enough.
V. THE FIX: BE BORED. BE STILL. BE DONE.
you need to detox from the high of effort.
you need to stop flirting with new methods like a fucking serial dater who keeps ghosting after the first week.
you need to look at your desire and say, “yup. got it.”
not move on from the desire.
your mind’s job is not to feel high 24/7.
your desire is not meant to feel like crack.
if it did, you’d burn out. you’d crash. it’d be unsustainable.
VI. MY FINAL SCREAM INTO YOUR SPIRITUAL VOID
you don’t need a new method.
you don’t need to try harder.
you don’t need to “rebuild” your mindset from scratch just because it got a little too quiet.
what you need is to accept that the silence is the arrival.
that the boredom is the having.
that your constant restarting is a trauma response disguised as ambition.
