This is not a painting. It is made entirely of wood, its surface flat. To reiterate: this is FLAT. This is a collection of different-coloured bits of wood, carefully cut and pieced together. It’s not “oh it’s a cupboard and they made the interior items out of wood”, the cupboard does not exist. The whole thing is a picture.
