Bruce is going to be pissed.... He got stood up again. "But Bruce...I had to...um...rescue a squirrel...there was a fire...yeah"

"uh huh...you just didn't want to hear another one of my speeches."

He takes Clark by the tie, leading him up to the bedroom, he recites his speech while undressing Clark. With the final sentence, he is hip deep against Clark on the bed.

"Such a...uh...uh..moving speech, my love."

Clark turns giving a sly smile, he had heard every word and enjoyed this one so much more!

A 101 Dalmatians scenario....

Clark is walking Krypto...trying to keep a handle on the leash.... Krypto picks up the scent of a highly attractive dark knight of a dog...

Bruce is walking Ace....highly on alert...but calm as ever sitting on a bench by the fountain reading the Daily Planet....

Bruce finishes the paper and gets up...running through the crowd is Krypto, so excited, he barks tangled with Ace's leash.

Clark is mortified also tangling with Bruce, "oh..uh...oh gosh no...I am so sorry...ahhh"

They fall into the fountain... Clark's lips brush with Bruce's..they freeze looking into each other's blue eyes....Clark blushes.

Bruce actually has color in his cheeks, too. They laugh at the moment and try untangling the leashes.

"it's alright.. truly...no harm, I can get this cleaned...thank you for the bath, Clark"

Clark is stunned...he knows me?!...He picks up a wet card from the water....Wayne Enterprises.

"Bruce Wayne...you sure know how to pick them, Krypto."

In the twilight hours, after the nightly patrol and after the early morning world sweep...Bruce waits for Clark in the open ballroom of the Manor. A soft waltz is playing...filling the room and Clark's ears. May I have this dance, boyscout? Bruce calls out knowing Clark is listening...In a gentle woosh of wind, two strong secure arms wrap around Bruce's waist whisking them both up into the air. They turn softly as Clark leans to capture his Knight's pleading lips. I will dance with you through the stars.
