Hello April & early spring 💚
Goodbye April. It was a difficult month. I pray May brings peace
“You left me boundaries of pain Capacious as the sea, Between eternity and time, Your consciousness and me.”
— Emily Dickinson, from “[You left me, sweet, two legacies,—]”
Thanks to these grasses I was finally able to sneak up on a toad and get a photo 🐸
I took these photographs in 2011 when I was still doing film photography only. I remember how often I'd go walking by the river, sitting down by the high grasses and getting comfortable to read on the ground while the sun caressed my skin and the breeze carried my worries far, far away ☀️🌿

The sun sets around 9pm and it's only early spring. How beautiful it is to co-inhabit these woods with wild animals! I encountered a herd of deer deep in the woods and I also found this deer bone near the wolves den
