I made a strawberry cake 🍰🍓❤️

🎂 The recipe ✨

For the sponge cake: 5 eggs, 150 grams of sugar, 150 grams of flour. Crack the eggs and beat, adding sugar little by little, until fluffy and white. Add the sifted flour, stirring gently to maintain volume. If you're worried, you can add 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

For the frosting: 150 grams of butter, 100 grams of powdered sugar, 300 grams of cream cheese. All the ingredients should be at room temperature. Beat the butter until light and fluffy, then add the powdered sugar little by little. Once the powdered sugar has dissolved, add cream cheese, little by little, don't mix too hard and for too long.

I used strawberry syrup to soak the sponge cake, and 500 grams of strawberries for the decoration and filling. The cake is about 25-30 cm in diameter.

Small update on my health issues.

So basically I had an appointment with a psychiatrist from my country and after I was recommended to start taking antidepressants and anxiolytics.

I saw that people have problems getting off the antidepressants so I don't know how it will end for me, but I was said to take half of the pill for the first week. Who knows what's gonna be recommended for me during the therapy, probably I'll get a bigger dose.

Anyway, I still want to believe that I can get better on my own. I resisted to see a psychiatrist before. I just don't want to be like this for the rest of my life. I lived normally before, well, at least I didn't notice the stress, apparently something broke me several years ago, I mean, I understand actually what exactly was the first step. I simply want to be happy again and not to feel tired anymore.

Currently I'm reading "Warriors: The New Prophecy", "The Terror", "20000 Leagues Under The Sea", "Anne of Green Gables" and "The Witcher: Sword of Destiny" and... I have time to read but I don't want to read anymore. With each book I thought I'd get more excited and interested, like it was in my childhood. And no, I don't get excited anymore. What..? Why..? Why I can't again just enjoy reading like back in time? What happened, what killed my desire and delight?
