Terre Nere's bigger, slightly bolder big brother. A bit more shoulder and depth with the same lovely dried violets, crushed earth, and minerality. Amazing pairing for an intimate dinner with chargrilled filets or venison. Beautiful. (at Kelleys Island, Ohio)

Mt. Etna in a glass. 2004 Calabretta Etna Rosso. Medium bodied, red brick color with cedar and dried rose aromas, much of the same on the palate with a pleasant rustic flavor that lingers and truly sets this wine apart from others made in the area. Elegant and clean. #delectableapp
