I rated my favourite UKYT duos
Just the dynamics of people I enjoy watching the most. Normal disclaimer I do not know nor claim to know any of them personally it's just who's vibe I enjoy seeing the most.
Chris and Arthur- So obvious theyâve been friends since school says because it still has little, juvinile dynamic I guess, I donât know if juvenile is the right word but almost playful? Lots of taking the piss. That being said once Arthur was asked who he would phone if he needed help no questions asked and he did say Chris. The pair of them drunk are my absolute favs!
The island boys. I feel like we donât see it as much which is a bit of a shame but I do enjoy seeing them together. Harry hugging Chrisâs parents during the 3 peaks challenge was incredibly cute, theyâve been friends for so long. Harry just seems so relaxed in Chrisâs videos (the ones without human statues anyway) I dunno he just seems more chill and fun Harry is also similar around Gib. Back to the island boys they have a really similar sense of humour, you get the impression they hang out outside of creating content. The fact that Harry who HATES the idea of having attention on him at weddings agreed to be Chrisâs best man is so incredibly sweet.
They appear to be on the same level for a lot of stuff, intellectually, humour etc itâs also really good to see a podcast of them talking about other concepts that other Youtuberâs donât touch. Being able to challenge each other on that level is cool, itâs a lot art from a lot of people. They hang out a lot outside of making content too.
Maybe a bit of a rogue choice I dunno? Theyâre just so chill! Their wives are obviously really close too which probably helps. There is also a lot of trust/respect between them which is obvious to me and I really like seeing that. Their friendship has matured over the years too, thereâs just something so comforting about them for me.
I actually think their friendship is criminally underrated. We know Will is someone who takes the piss out of his friends and winds them up, if his friendship with someone else is anything to go by and he does exactly the same with Chris, putting cameras in his office, stealing his sign in sheets etc. One of my favourite moments was in the meme Olympics when Will got a drink, decided to get one for Chris and instantly went âheâs a fruity cocktail guyâ just warmed my heart. Lets not start on when he said he would have a threesome with Chris. Theyâre also very similar in terms of them having anxiety etc and I really hope (I donât know but I hope) they feel like they can talk to each other about it when times are tough.
1 Will and James Was it going to be anyone else? Will calling him âhis personâ seriously that running video I could watch over and over again. To like someone to the extent of going into business with them still. They endlessly take the piss but have a bond deep down. I just love their dynamic so much. Heterosexual life partners
