I just am frustrated. Instead of moving our dispositions around slightly T’au now have 2 3DP detachments and only 8 possible detachment combinations.

- Mont’ka (Purge)

- Ret Cadre (Purge)

- 3x Kauyon (Priority) + the 1DP detachments (Priority, Recon or Disrupt)

- 2x Kroot (Take + Hold) + 1DP (Priority or Recon)

- 1DP soup (Priority, Recon or Disrupt)

As someone who doesn’t own Kroot and doesn’t want to play Purge as T’au now I can’t combine Ret Cad and one of the 1DP detachments like I was before. I’m now FORCED into Kauyon and not having an army rule till turn 3 AGAIN unless I want to be consistently trying to outkill Orks or Chaos in a Purge mirror match
