so long... for now

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been losing interest in this blog and the indie world for a while now.  I’m not sure what it is, but I just haven’t felt good about myself whenever I’ve come on here.  In the mean time, I’ve joined a roleplay and that’s where I’ve been feeling most comfortable.  I’m not sure if I’ll ever return to the open indie world, but I want you guys to know that it’s been something I had a lot of fun doing for a long time.  I made a lot of great friends here and I’ve certainly grown as a writer.  Thank you to everyone that has stuck by me, and I wish you all the best.  If you feel like keeping in touch/finding out where I’m headed next, feel free to hmu on $kype at janille.starkid.

A huge sigh of relief escaped her when he finally assured her it was a good thing, and she fell into the kiss with ease.  “Guess I should start calling you Daddy Boing, huh?”

But we’ve both been super busy lately.” Finding out your best friend was actually supposed to be a part of a Supernatural Fight Club and following her through all of it only to get forcibly turned into a vampire all while trying to save life as everyone knew it from her psycho dad definitely took up a lot of time… “Just to a friend’s. But it’s not important. I was just heading over to crash there. As long as I’m there by sunrise, all will be good. You’re not holding me up at all.”

“Busy with what?” she asked, curious and looking for more distractions.  She probably should be getting home, but going home meant being alone, and she wasn’t ready for that yet.  “Why do you have to be there by sunrise?” she wondered, furrowing her eyebrows at him.  “Why not just sleep at home and meet up with him tomorrow?”

Just like the first time he ever gave her an emotional speech, this one seemed to strike Jess silent.  It was nice to know he still had an affect on her.  “Of course I paint you.  I paint everything and everyone I love,” he told her.  “Is that okay with you?”

She simply smiled over at him as he nudged her, then looked away for a moment to keep from smiling too brightly at him.  How was it even when she was certain of something, he managed to surprise her with his own thoughts.  “I’m not that talented.  I just... draw how I see things.”
