A Wonderful Wedding Commission

I recently created this Wonderful Wedding Commission! Painted in the couples wedding colours with their honeymoon route highlighted in gold!

Its always so amazing to be asked to do a commission, especially for a wedding! Some friends were getting married in September and asked me to make them a picture for our gift. The lucky couple are off for a round the world trip on their honeymoon so what better way to remember this part of their life than with a special map commission. This week I have been helping out Highlights on the Rural Craft tour, a touring exhibition which showcases the work of amazing Craftsmen in different disciplines. Today I took part in the Kantha Embroidery masterclass run by Lynn Setterington (http://www.lynnsetterington.co.uk) it was so nice to be quite precise (or try to be!) and work in a different way than I usually do! The customer wanted the piece to give as a present to a colleague who was leaving their place of work. Shiny New Website

My fabulous fiance has been busy making me a beautiful new website ready for the up coming British Craft Trade Fair. I love everything about it!

A Recent Commission

Just before Christmas (gosh it seems so long ago now!) I completed a commission of one of my Watercolour Maps.

Audrey wanted something which would fit into the beautiful interior of her home, which is a mixture of natural wood, timber beams and brick and plaster walls.

Weekend Away

Its been a very busy week here at Bryoney Fawn as I’m getting ready for 3 shows at once. I have been pinning and framing for hours and hours but the end is now in sight so I wanted to show you my adventures last weekend.
