So it’s funny how we feminists are all about not speaking over sex workers until a sex worker speaks and we speak over her to tell her to stop speaking on sex work.

No one is laughing at sex trafficking and murder. We’re laughing at Zola’s truly skillful storytelling techniques as she attempts to work through what was clearly a traumatic event for everyone involved. And honestly, it’s really not your place to dictate how Zola is to tell her story or how we as her audience are to consume it. That is all.
