not sure if i should be more relieved or concerned from the complaints being more or less the same things... and it makes me also uncomfortable to meet ppl in this fandom cus its been such a long time problem and they still havent quit most likely knowing its bad💔💔

Well after a certain amount of time there isn't much to complain about, that's why there have been less and less asks lately. Plus the same complaints typically show that the problem is still present.

To one of the commenters under this one, I DO give a fuck (quoting, this isn't meant to insult anyone) about the fun of rp. But the fun of rp stems from being able to interact with various characters, no?

Imagine you're a Poe, but none of the other Guild members exist. Yes, you can interact with the ADA, OCs or the PM- but: a lot of the people you used to rp with are gone or inactive. New people don't answer you, or are equally inactive.

This isn't about popular and lively, it's about being ABLE to rp.

You try to have fun, but you simply can't find joy in it because you don't receive asks, your asks go unanswered, your open starters remain ignored safe for a heart or not even that and the chats that do come to happen? Either they are dropped in the middle of a conversation or it takes two weeks for an answer.

People have lives and I respect that, but the community feels dead when you can't rp as easily and openly anymore and as a result of that: it's less fun because there is no life in the community anymore

No intentions to insult anyone or rain on anyone's parade, just explaining my issue so it's easier to understand WHY "this community feels dead" is a pet peeve.

rising toxicity. not taking any sides in any of the arguments but all sides are starting to feel iffy/make me lose interest in sticking around with how creepy/weird/uncomfortable its getting around here

not a call-out against specific people, its gotten uncomfortable since MONTHS ago but it just keeps getting worse imo

summary: bsd rp as a whole is getting more and more uncomfortable to be around but might just be me

How dead this community feels no matter what you try

Well, dear Anon, I said this once, and I'll say it again, people move on. Some of us gain new interests and move on to new things, others simply grow up, some people no longer have the time for rp, and so on. It's going to happen at some point. Each community has its prime moment before it downfalls.

You don't have to revise the community. Just enjoy what you have left. Remember the fond memories you used to have with others. We all move on at some point, some stay longer than others and that's fine. Time goes by and soon before you know it, you found a new interest or two.

It's okay to miss it, but you cannot cling to the past forever.

Well, it probably depends on the context. To advance the plot? Sorta makes sense. To do a quick funny skit, eh no opinion unless it's actually funny.

Now if it's someone who literally doesn't rp with anyone else then yeah that's a little strange.

Also mod has done this before with their own blogs so I can't really judge.

Ooc: I have so many ideas all the time and immediately shift love onto it every other day

Idk if theres a word for it but I forget how to play nearly every other character or their arc because I had a singular idea and it ruins my ability to rp well.
