How I Met Your Mother: Sunrise

I really liked this episode of How I Met Your Mother. It begins with Barney in a drunken state and ends with him in a sober state.

The theme of this episode though was about moving on. Ted and Robin finally moved on from loving each other. Robin finds out that the reason Ted left Victoria, reason being because Ted still loves Robin. After they do some reflecting Ted wakes up from that dream he was having.

Meanwhile Barney makes two new friends eager to meet ladies. Barney gives him all of his knowledge in one night.

Like I said it was all about moving on. Barney passed on the torch to two guys, because he can't hit on single chicks anymore since he is getting married to Robin. Ted finally let go of Robin because they cant be together since she is getting married to Barney.

That was the episode called Sunrise.

Life of Brain - Family Guy (Season 12)

So as everyone knows, the writers of Family Guy announced they were killing off a member of the Griffins.

Everybody was wondering who was it going to be, some people said Meg (obvious reasons), other people said Chris. It ended up being the most logical character Brian Griffin.

This actually was a good episode, although they could have made it more of a serious episode. What they should have done was had maybe 1 or 2 jokes in it and that was it but no they didn't. Also, the funeral scene there shouldn't have been any jokes, but they did.

That being said, it was good. This episode gave the most logical death of a dog in a modern family by having Brian get hit by a car. 

So now since the episode ended everyone is probably wondering when is Brian coming back.

Well it going to be either next episode or in the sometime near future. Vinny is probably only going to be used in that episode and not have a permanent role.

If Brian was actually going to die it would have probably going to be a 2 part episode or hour long, and a season finale.

In summary Brain is dead (not for long), Vinny is the new dog (only for that episode), and too many bad jokes for a serious episode.

ONCE UPON A TIME: Think Lovely Thoughts (SPOILER ALERT!!)

In this episode of Once Upon a Time it gave us the back story of Rumpelstiltskin and his father. It also continued the story of Henry "saving magic". But it is revealed by Wendy Darling; who was captured by Peter Pan, that Pan is lying to Henry and just wants to become Immortal because he is dying.

In the back story, the audience gets to see Rumpelstiltskin father. His father is not the ideal father. He tries to abandon his son and leave him with Spinners. He gives him a doll; this is the same doll we saw one of the Lost Boys give to Rumple in the second episode.

The spinners give Rumple a magic bean so that he can use it to get away from his father. Only, he finds his father and they go on an adventure to Neverland.

In the story for our heroes, they go to raid Peter Pan's camp only to find him and Henry not there, but at Skull Island. They try to stop Pan by going to the island only to find out he has a barrier spell cast on it.

Rumple and his Father reach Neverland, and the Father is excited. He shows Rumple everything he remembers about this place as a child, but there is only one problem Rumple's father is no longer a child and can not do the things he was able to do, like fly. They find pixie dust, but the father can't use it because he is an adult. A shadow appears telling him he broke the rules. He makes a deal with the Shadow, and turns him young. Magic always comes with a price though, and it turns out Rumple is taken away from Neverland. Before he gets taken away it is reveled that Peter Pan is actually Rumple's father. 

Rumple and Pan get into a confrontation inside the cave where Rumple gets imprisoned in Pandora's Box, and Henry gives Pan his heart.

Now for my opinion. It was a really good episode but the only problem I had with it was that it was so predictable. I mean I caught every foreshadowing event that was going to happen in that episode. For example; "If you use magic I'm going to seal you in this Box" which was said from Baelfire. That was just one example but there was many more.

Anyway the fans will not see a new episode until December 1st, which is in 2 weeks.

Pokemon Origins

So the creator of Pokemon decided to make a mini series, with 4 episodes in it.

Now everyone knows the main Pokemon series with Ash and his companion Pikachu. This story on the other hand goes all they way back to Generation 1: Red, Blue, Green (Japan Only).

Red the protagonist and Green (Blue) get a mission from Professor Oak to go out and catch all the Pokemon in the world. While on the way Red goes through trainers, gym leaders,Team Rocket, and of course The Eite Four. Also places like Lavender Town, Mt. Moon, Silph Co., and Cerulean Cave were mentioned in the series.

Lavender Town and Silph Co. being actual main plots of two episodes while Mt.Moon is just mentioned. Cerulean Cave does not show up until near the end of episode 4. This is when Red faces off against Mewtwo, and catches him.

Everything they used in this mini-series was awesome I just wish it lasted like 10 episodes instead of 4, that way the older fans could relive the old school Pokemon through their TV. I think next they should do a mini series about Silver and Gold, and Ruby and Sapphire. That would be way cool.

BBM for Android?

So I just installed BBM for my Nexus 4. So far it has not opened, its been probably 15 minutes or so, i have not been keeping track. Now this is actually BBM brought to us by BlackBerry Limited. Not one of those fake BBM apps that third parties have made. On the ratings side of things it is doing really well with a 4.5/5 stars on Google Play and same for the Apple Store. I guess loyal BlackBerry fans will be downloading this app. I think its just taking awhile since it has done very well in the downloading department since everybody is doing it. There was an article on theverge.com that said "10 million people have downloaded this mobile app in the first 24 hours since its release date" (Robertson, 2013).

What does the bad press have to say? So far not hearing very bad things about the product I think it is because everyone is waiting to use it. I know I am.

I think though RIM is trying to use this as a "Trojan Horse" kind of thing because even though BlackBerry is in decline BBM will keep RIM in business.  

It might be a couple of days before I get an email stating I can use it.
