The slamming of the angelic weapon through her chest from the exorcist angel that came out of nowhere. The soft pastel pink tear filled eyes as she looked down at the skinner spider demon that went wide eyed at the sight of the bloody bat demon’s pure white fur. “I’m…I’m okay, it’s…it’s just a scratch, babe.” She forced her normal expression of fake happiness as she coughed up blood onto the white and soft pink accents of the spider demon and his usual normal day clothes. “I’m going to…have to get back to…work for Vox…after all, right?” She wiped the blood off her lower lip and looked up at him. “I…guess we’re going to be separated from each other for a little bit longer. I’ll see you soon enough…Anthony…” she says as she raises a winged arm to cup his cheek, as she smirked slightly. “You’re a famous porn star after all, how can I miss you?” She pulled his face down as she kissed him, her eyes turning dull as the afterlife of the bat demon vanished, snuffed out by the exorcist angel. Before the spider demon could release his rage on the angel that had attacked the two, the angels were already summoned back to heaven, leaving him to let out a scream of gutted despair as he looked at the other demon. Tears welled up from the corners of his eyes as an ad from Valentino’s recent hit shows a clip of the spider demon himself…Angel Dust. Angel crumble as he held the bat demon’s corpse in his arms. She’d be replaced almost immediately after the word of her death is spoken and the Vee’s notice. It’s not fair! Why’d she have to get in the way? Why’d it come to this point? How can a simple scene reading lead…to this? To him being a fucking mess over the death of a fucking secretary of all things for him to get attached to?! The nobody who is forgotten about because they have things in order. “Never…again…” he murmured as he looked up to where heaven is, thinking of where it all went wrong in the first place. It had to be that one time when she had saved him from Valentino, scene after scene…just a fuck up after fuck up…and Val was none too pleased with it. Val dragged him into Angel’s dressing room and let’s just say that it wasn’t all too pleasant to look back on.
“Angel, you know how much I absolutely fucking hate repeating myself. If you’re not going to get your fucking shit together…you’re not going to be enjoying the club’s dance performances that are scheduled for tonight. You hear me…? I’m going to make sure that you-” A knock on the door interrupts Val, making his antennas quiver with rage as Angel tries to spare the bold demon who had dared to knock on the door to get Val’s attention. But it’s a soft spoken voice that is heard to cut the sharp and angry voice of Valentino. The secretary…whatever the fuck her name is…Cierra? Christina? Christine? Who gave a flying fuck…but Val did seem to calm down when he heard her voice through the door. Strange, usually only Vox would be able to do such things to Val.
“Sir, I’m sorry to interrupt, but the crew needs your assistance immediately. And according to your schedule, we are five minutes behind schedule. I’ll fix Angel’s makeup quickly so that he doesn’t have to scurry off to makeup, sir.” A calm and gentle voice that definitely sounds head strong enough to face off with Val. “I can handle it instead if you’d rather, sir. But I do think that your perfection over the crew is highly needed, sir.” She knew how to make Val do what is needed and keep him on track…which had thrown Angel for a loop. She entered the dressing room after knocking and smiling softly at him, after Valentino had left. But not before Val had given Angel one last death glare that spoke volumes, Angel had to get this scene right, no matter what. “Good morning, Angel Dust. Let’s get you looking good like you always do.” She glanced up at him as she spoke, her soft pastel pink eyes shining in the dim light of his dressing room as she approached him. She gently opened the small cross body bag, taking out the makeup to hide his swollen eye and then touching his lipstick up, putting blush on him. She was careful to not touch him, in case of harming him further, whether it would be physically or mentally. Once she finished, she softly stepped back from his taller and more skinny body as to put distance between them out of respect for him as her role as a secretary. She put the makeup away and closed the satchel that rested on her hip. “Is everything alright, Angel? You seem to be having a hard time with the script today.” She noted as she glanced at her watch, before she softly led him out and toward the stage door.
“Thanks for noticing, captain obvious…I just…” Angel growled as he clenched his fists. “I don’t know! Okay?! Fuck, the script feels like shit, the other actors are fucking shitty today, and Val…! Val, he…he’s…Val’s just…” he slammed his fist down aggressively in rage on the bat demon’s desk, seeing the name plate on the desk. “Cyn, huh? Like Sin? Funny…”
“It’s short for Cynthia, Angel. Can I give it a try, maybe you just need some more practice.” She offered to Angel Dust. “Practice can make a difference.” She said, her ears flicking occasionally as she paused from typing. “Might help you out with your uncertainty about the scene.” She said as she held her paw out as Angel placed the script in her out stretched palm. “Start at the beginning, yeah?” Cyn offered to Angel, before she checked the time. “Might not be the best practice, but some practice is better than nothing.” She looked up from the script. “You ready?”
“Just get to the fucking script, okay?” Angel asks, still having a little bit of rage in him, before he takes a breath to calm himself down. She doesn’t deserve his anger after all since she at least offered to help him out with work. More than what the other actors did towards him, to be fair.
“Alright, alright…let’s see here…” Cyn smiled, the flash of her sharp canines as she looked at the script, before she had stand. She walked around her desk and looked up from the script. “Okay, I’ll do my best, Angel.” She said with a happy look on her face. “Three…two…” She snapped her fingers as a signal to start the scene.
Jealous Demon: “you are a cocky little bitch, you know that?” The demon glances at the Angel, eyeing him over before they continue. “you fucked my ex, and now my boyfriend?! I’m tired of hearing about your fucking sex, slut.” They approaches him angrily as the scene continued. “what’s so special about your fucking holes, bitch?!”
Angel Dust: he grins and looks the other demon over, scoffing as he starts to observe the other demon. “Wow, I can't believe that this whore actually thinks they’re better than me! They’re just jealous that I get more attention than them! They probably just mad because no one would ever want to touch them. I'm surprised anyone wants to be in the same room as them, talk about disgusting…”
Jealous Demon: “That’s a classic coming from your mouth, whore. Me…jealous of your ass? As fucking If! Look at you, you’ve been stalking my account since I turned you away. You jealous little cunt.” The demon narrowed the gap between them. “you’re a fucking yandere, who fucks instead of kills.” They leaned towards him and pulled his shirt collar down to have his face close to theirs. “if you wanted to fuck me that bad, baby…~ do it~” They purr softly.
Angel Dust: he smirks as he looks down at the demon. “I thought you'd never ask.” he moves closer and kisses them.
Cyn squeaked out in surprise and pulled away from him. “End scene!” She blushed as she put distance between them, embarrassed by the kiss. She touched her lips as she processed what had just happened there. Angel watched her, before he put the pieces together and burst into laughter, covering his face.
“Oh my fucking God! You never been kissed before?! What the actual fuck?!” He laughed as she blushed and covered her face, turning to have her back to him.
“Just…hurry up and get on set, already!” Cyn blushed as she quickly shoved the script into Angel’s chest and sits down at her desk and gets to work quickly with her work. Angel hums and decides that she’s probably right, going back to the set. Surprisingly…the scene finally got to be finished, making Val more happy at the outcome of getting over the fuck up that Angel couldn’t get past. Angel was surprised himself, but not upsetting Valentino is a highlight. As Angel walked past the desk that Cyn was behind, a thought occurred to him and he stopped to lean on the desk, looming over the sitting bat demon.
“Yes, Angel?” The bat demon questioned him without looking up at him as she typed on the typewriter. “Did you need a water bottle or something?” She was still absorbed in her own work, before she was stopped by the overlooking demon watching her. Angel had tilted her head upward to have her look at him.
“Just a question…can we try doing that again?” He asked her with curiosity as she tilted her head, her eyes filled with caution off what he might be thinking about.
“The…scene?” Her ears flicked at the sound of the other demons passing by as she glanced at the others behind Angel that were carrying on with their lives.
“Yeah, the scene…I don’t know what happened but it was perfect for once after so many repeated fuck ups. And Val was happy, I can’t take another chance of fucking up so close to a good scene. Please, I just need a few scenes like this good one.” Angel pleads with the bat.
“I’m not an actor…much less a porn star, Angel.” Cyn pointed out to him, as she continued to work, pulling her chin out of his hand. She pulled a bottle of water out of the mini fridge and handed it to Angel. “But…” She hesitated as her eyes looked at his, which were desperate for her help to help him out. “I guess that I’ll help you out with a few more scenes as soon as you get the script for them, okay?” She smiled at him, not wanting him to go through the whole hellscape with Val again. It’s not right after all and she wouldn’t make the same mistake again.
“Fuck yeah!” He grinned after downing the water and smiled, walking away to toss the bottle away as Cyn shook her head. She had no idea what she had just gotten herself mixed up with…
