BTS Spiderverse AU Plans
The idea is to start getting the story published here and on AO3 by end of January.
The main plot, some side notes, and a few chapters are already written out as we started this a year ago, but need to undergo heavy editing. Already we've made some changes to plot points and bits of character backstory.
Big picture, I would love to have a full on website outside of tumblr that we use to house all the final iterations and works. The idea is to have it look like those cyber databases with 3D interactive models for suits and stuff - that will take years though, so bare minimum we've got the tumblr blog!
The blog itself will mostly be an archive of our creative process, just to keep everyone engaged with the work as much as possible. There are some suit design works that can be shared (though I will be immensely embarrassed about them lol) and as the designs undergo updates and final iterations, we'll post those here too.
There are 11 plot important characters, all of which get at least one chapter in their POV. We're trying to write it similarly to how Heroes of Olympus was written, because it made the most sense plot wise to go about it that way.
Of course, seven of the characters are the members themselves, and their suits and characters designs will be posted whenever I get a chance to go through their art for it. Three of the remaining characters also have suits/character designs, however we will refrain from posting those until those characters are introduced in the story.
That means that when a character is first introduced in the published work, we'll get their designs up.
One of these characters has a secret identity, so their suit will be up before their full character design.
And of course we had to involve ARMY, so we've made ARMY has the replacement for Lila/Lyla in the movie! A.R.M.Y is an AI that changes appearance each time we see them, so if you'd like for your likeness to be used please send us a submission or ask if either a description of yourself, a picrew/art piece to the nearest likeness, or if you're comfortable a photo of yourself. All photos sent in will not be saved to personal devices and will be deleted after they are written into the story! DO NOT give us any more identifying information (such as your name) in this submissions/asks!
