I donate to Palestinian fundraisers whenever I can. However money is tight right now and I might not always be able to donate, but will continue to share fundraising posts in the meantime. Had a nap and dreamed that the term in chess for removing a piece from the board was “eating out” (as in “my rook eats out your bishop”). There was also a procedure by which a piece could be returned to the board called “eating in”.
Last month I caught Covid, and right at the start of my symptoms I saw this post. For the next 8ish days, I was HAUNTED by this song. It played on a loop in my head for hours. I would wake up in the middle of the night covered in sweat singing “…mixed with Zach Galifianakis” as it bounced around in my virus-addled brain. It was literally inescapable.
Anyway as soon as that ended, the Morbin Time memes started so you can imagine how that went for me, who would be deliriously sick for another 5 days.
People got mad the last time I mentioned Elon Musk is really ugly but he is and it wouldn’t be relevant or worth mentioning if he wasn’t so racist, didn’t have that weird eugenicist streak and wasn’t so disgustingly misogynistic and critical of women’s appearances. We have a guy here who does not fit a single beauty standard on God’s green earth trying to make himself seem superior and trying to make other people feel bad about the way they look.

Love is a verb! Self love isn’t a warm fuzzy feeling, it is compassion and action in support of yourself!
And yes, this includes having compassion for the bully in your head. Unfortunately that part is also you and deserves as much of your understanding as the rest of you.
This is the real reason why you need to be kind to the bully in your brain too, because that motherfucker is really good at doing a switcheroo when you're not paying attention.

idk what transmasc needs to hear this but being a man is not smth you have to apologize or make up for. it's just not. you don't need absolution for being a man. you don't need to beg on your knees for forgiveness for "shunning" the "gift" of being a woman. you aren't "unfortunately adding one more guy to the world". your manhood is a gift. it adds so much richness to the world. do not let anyone make you think you need to spend your life suffering in purgatory for the crime of transitioning. you don't need to throw yourself to the floor and repent and suffer because of other people's discomfort with who you are.
You're adding another guy to the world, fortunately. Another kind guy. Another open-minded guy. Another guy who cares how his actions effect others, a self-aware guy who knows at least a few things about said guy's self, a guy whose personhood is no less important than anyone else's, just as it's no more important either.
